We had a lunch here, we didn't book, it was spur of the moment idea. Probably best to book. The service was excellent and the staff so friendly. The menu is good, I had pheasant, something I haven't had for ages. It was delicious. We would definitely go back another day.

Arriving early was not a problem for Andrew who took us straight to our table. Our meals were delicious as were the deserts.
This is a country pub with a 5 star service

Lovely place to eat whether indoors or outside.
Great menu - large portions and friendly staff.
Good to see linen napkins and table cloths but not have to pay the earth!

Had a really wonderful meal at the bedingfeld arms. Every dish from starter to desert was absolutely delicious. Highlights included the seared pigeon, the meat board, the venison suet pudding, the beef, the lamb & the sticky stout pudding.
Service was also excellent.
A great time was had by all!

Absolute Superb dinner tonight. The mushroom soup starter was divine, the lamb main course was exceptional, our eton mess dessert was delightful… and the service and company was simply… Perfect. Wish I could be here every week.

Absolutely brilliant pub and food is absolutely delightful the rooms are clean and all have their own character a lovely garden to sit out and enjoy a pint whilst overlooking a old church the staff are very friendly and very helpful. very recommended for anyone wanting a lovely time out or even to stay whilst passing through.

Very disappointed with extremely poor service. Visited for a special lunch for the first time having lived locally for a few months. Service incredibly slow, staff lacked enthusiasm at best, verging on the discourteous. We had to leave our table twice and go searching for any member of staff just to try and obtain service and found no one. There seems to be a pattern emerging which cannot solely be blamed on staffing issues, the management needs to take some responsibility.
Sadly we will not be returning.
