Stayed on business in July and August 2017, left my car on the B&B drive one day, drove into Newport the other days. ||||The B&B is a bungalow split into rooms with a shared bathroom. My room was spacious, clean, bright and ideal for my purposes. There is use of the kitchen area.||||Bathroom was clean, modern and consisted of a modern shower, this was again ideal.||||Living room is available to guests, I watched TV and worked in the living room one evening, this was nice.||||The owner was very friendly and accommodating, a very good host.||||Good value (cash only - but not an issue as I was told in advance of arriving) and ideal for my purposes, I would recommend and will be coming back in 2018.

This "guest house" does not provide breakfast. So before you think about value for money, add in the cost of breakfast at another B&B. |The house was clean enough, the bed was only just OK and the pillows were horrible. |The host has been renovating the bathroom - so even though it was clean with a new shower, panels were still showing plasterboard and the old bath had been thrown into the garden - it looks terrible. |We beat a hasty retreat, had breakfast at Costa and would avoid going back!|If you're staying on Isle of Wight in holiday season, book ahead to get a choice of accommodation!

Myself and my partner stayed here begging of November 2017. We was looking for a local B&B/guest house that dose not have the high prices of the town center chain hotels like travel lodge or premier in. (we was booking last minute and quoted high prices) - we found the owner Nick friendly and it was perfect for out 3 days getaway. we basically just sleeped there and was out all day. It is just 5 minutes walk from town center, parking on his drive and it was quite location. i would stay here again.

My partner and I went to this guest house in Newport just as a little break. The owner was very friendly. Anything we asked for he helped us with it, i.e. Getting us a scart lead for the to so we could watch a DVD. It's close to a pub but we didn't get the noise from it.

The owner is a delightful chap, accommodating and welcoming. Shared bathroom and kitchen not ideal. Beverages in the shared kitchen and not high standard of cleanliness in bathroom. Disappointing, not on my list of places to return.

The host double booked one of our 2 rooms so that one of us had to sleep in his old caravan in the garden. No reduction in price was offered. The landlord addressed me as 'fella' all the time. Odd.

The position is very convenient to the bus station , the host is very friendly and kind, drive us to the Osborne house in the rainy morning, and room is good and in order
