We booked this last minute having stayed elsewhere with friends. The host was very polite. The double bedroom at the front of the house was on a noisy road and small. The shower room had been added to the bedroom and was very confined. Not enough hot water for a shower for 2 people but still got charged the full price. Room felt cold as was the shower room. Breakfast was ok. Lovely walking from Sleights.

Stayed here for my birthday. Owner was friendly and helpful when we arrived wet through after a walk. Room was comfortable and the view was amazing. Good choice for breakfast and well cooked. Very convenient for touring the area. There is a bus stop near. Parking is on street but no problem. We are hoping to go again next year.

We have just spent 2 weeks staying here. Our room was clean & comfortable with every amenity we needed. Breakfast each morning set us up for the day. Anne & Paul were the perfect hosts and made us feel very much at home. The little touches make the difference such as tea & coffee making facilities in your room with fresh milk every day; a good choice of biscuits to accompany the tea & coffee; and occasional treats left for us such as fresh strawberries, or cake! Location wise, it is ideal for touring around this part of North Yorkshire & Cleveland. Anne has a plentiful supply of leaflets in relation to attractions, and both she and Paul are always willing to share their local knowledge.

We were welcomed by Anne who was very friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, tv and tea making facilities available, the house was lovely and clean and the views were lovely. The breakfast was good nothing too much trouble, gluten free provided, just ask, it is located about a 10 minute drive to Whitby. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed here for one night before attending a conference in Whitby. It could not have been better. Clean, tidy with a true feeling of home. Anne is brilliant, and I wished that I could have stayed a few nights more. My breakfast was first-class, it filled me up for ages afterwards. An ideal, reasonably priced home from home. Very highly recommended.

Back for the Whitby Goth Festival, Anne and Paul's wonderful welcome always make us feel right at home. Bright, fresh clean room, with the little extras as Anne is happy to help with dietary needs, and fresh clean towels. Amazing cook breakfast for my husband. There's a veggie choice in the cook breakfast too.

Always a super stay at Anne and Paul’s. We were at the Whitby Goth Festival. Clean, bright rooms and bathroom. Wonderful dining room with a choice of breakfast. Choose of vegetarian breakfast too. My husband loves their English breakfast.
