These gardens, Lake and Tea House are lovely and situated by Strutts Mill on the edge of Belper. There is an amazing weir by the Mill worth seeing and the Swiss Tea Room had good tea and cakes.

Recently stayed in Belper & wandered down to take the dog for a walk. Really lovely areas, with the river, duck pond & cafe area. Not very big but happy we visited

Lovely gardens and dog friendly cafe
But the parking is awful
It's a parking app and everyone was having problems with it.
At least give people a choice to pay at the machine, this does affect people wanting to visit again
No toilets at the cafe
Some near entrance but didn't look like somewhere you'd want to visit.

Well-tendered flowers & shrubs with ponds to attract water-fowl. The weir is stunning as is the view of the historic mill ( awaiting renovation). A lovely oasis in town to relax abd charge your batteries!

Nice to spend a while here and have a little walk around. There's a cafe, playground, plenty of seats and some ducks and geese! Parking is in a fairly cheap pay and display car park.

Had no idea this was there, discovered by chance as needed to stretch our legs.
Lovely little area with a cafe, children's play area and a kiosk for row boat rentals.

Lovely area with parking available at a good rate. Lovely cafe with ice-cream milkshakes and light lunches available too. River boats weren't open on the day we went but it says online that they are temporarily closed.
