This is a lovely cafe frequented by the locals and visitors alike. The staff are extremely helpful and willing to make minor changes to their menu should customers desire. I changed my bacon on sourdough toast to salmon ? very easily.

Excellent coffee shop, we visited on farmers market morning, and although it was busy, the staff were polite and attentive. Veggie breakfast was rated delicious by my partner and my meaty breakfast was also excellent. We will definitely be back.

Lovely food, came out quickly. Lady at the till seemed a bit grumpy but an older lady who served us was so amazing and kind to my daughter, even let her draw on her note bad and took her to choose a drink. I would recommend.

Had a takeaway sausage bap and pretty sure the sausages were precooked the day before - they were dry as though been left out all night. Nice servers but quality isn’t it.

Popped into the village to get some meds from the chemist and asked the lady who served me for recommendations for the best place to grab a breakfast. She recommended Bennet’s without hesitation.

I ordered the full English and the Mega milkshake because I’m a pig.

The food was lovely except for the bacon which was really dry as if he had been sitting around for a while. Everything else on the plate was fine.

The milkshake was also great.

The cafe is small and cosy and is clearly a favourite for the locals as many customers coming in and leaving seemed to know each other.

If you’re visiting the village as I was and wondering where to grab a brekky, then this would be the place. Internal and external seating available and dog friendly.

Market Day is Tuesday in Thrapston. Coffee at Bennet's ... a staff who know their job and are friendly with it. Wonderful Butcher and Gift Shop. Fantastic green grocer stall. Great gift shop and Co op store.
