We cannot speak highly enough of both Sarah as a host and of her cottage as a cosy, clean and peaceful getaway. Sarah kindly informed us that the cottage was ready earlier than expected which was particularly appreciated on a cold grey January day! A particular standout feature was the comprehensive welcome pack - in a folder, not online - covering everything to do with the cottage, walks in the locale, pubs, shops, etc. etc. - something which other hosts could learn from. All in all, if you’re looking for calm and cosiness, then look no further!

Hedgerow cottage and it's location were perfect for our two weeks on the island. Ideally placed for walks in all directions from the front door, lovely views and a great pub only 10 minutes walk away across the fields and through the trees.
The cottage itself was immaculate, with a well designed interior, clean and comfortable and full of everything we would need. The private courtyard was a great bonus with plenty of furniture for outdoor living and sunbathing, free of all breezes and a suntrap from about 9am to 4.30. Even the weather was great for virtually the whole two weeks.
Sarah and Ross were great friendly hosts and provided everything we needed.
Thanks both, we will definitely be back.

Recently had a lovely visit to The Bakehouse, Berryl Cottages. I found the place beautiful and rejuvenating. The owners clearly have great taste and high level of care to their guests. It was presented to an impeccable standard. Plenty of walks with stunning scenery. Feeling refreshed and can't wait to book again. Highly recommended 😊

Fossil cottage was absolutely gorgeous, really comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for exploring the island then coming home to comfy furnishings and log fire! We absolutely loved it, and it had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. Lovely bath too and great ambience. Thank you!

Beautiful cosy picturesque cottage in the very heart of the countryside.
Fully equipped with everything you need. Tastefully designed with big comfortable beds and lovely linen. They really have thought of everything.
A 5 minute walk to the village pub over fields and stream and only 10 minutes from the sea.
The most helpful and friendly hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay, just what we needed, we will be back!

A peaceful location, an ideal base for our break with lovely walks from your doorstep. The cottage (Hedgerow) is decorated beautifully, with everything you need for a comfortable stay - the outside space a bonus for sunshine breakfasts! Hedgerow cottage a treat to stay in
Upgrades since our last stay improved our comfort for the fortnight's stay(and it was great last time)). Appreciated the cake😀. Had a lovely relaxing stay with many walks in all directions from the cottage. Enjoyed many a beer and great food in various pubs Etc The Buddle Inn providing musical Bingo on last Friday different and interesting it was great with welcoming staff.. With being lucky with weather we had amazing Sunsets. With visits to all attractions Osborne house a stand out All in all a wonderful fortnight in Great location thanks!!!
