I've held various events here over the years and have found the venue to be perfect every time. Great food, great staff and everything just as agreed from start to finish. I would highly recommend Berties, it's a great place, both rooms up and down. Thanks guys for making our latest event an absolute success.

First I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to all the staff at Bertie’s.
The venue was perfect, 80 people attended my wife’s celebration of life.
The staff at Bertie’s couldn’t have been more helpful, Katie, (the manager)was wonderful, her organisation of the event was first class. The chef did me very proud, a perfect selection of hot and cold food, with a desert and Cheese board. Also Bertie’s supplied tea and coffee.
I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a FIRST CLASS venue!

I organised my mums surprise 50th birthday celebration here and it went perfect. The venue is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the crystal ballroom and it was great, we also hired the food and dj with the Berties and they did a fantastic job too. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience, my mum absolutely loved it. X

Went for Christmas party. Very fancy place with bar area and upstairs dining area. Limited options for vegetarians but the salad was delicious. The lemon raspberry cheesecake was to die for, the ragu was ok. The music and host were lovely and the staff was very sweet and helpful. Enjoyed it, also has good parking!

We chose Bertie’s as the venue for my husband’s Celebration of Life following his funeral. I would definitely choose them again if I need to plan another event. Katie and her team took great care of me during the preparation, and the food and service on the day were excellent. They unobtrusively ensured that everyone was well fed and cared for, catering to all needs, and the room was lovely.

I have recently organised a dinner at Bertie's for an organization of which I am a member. It was for 131 people and Bertie's made the making of arrangements really easy. They are flexible on menus-if it isn't on their standard menu but doable within the price bracket, they will do it. Generally they all went out of their way to meet our requirements. I believe that food has to be judged in the context of price and our view is that the food is excellent for the price charged. Not many places in this locality can accommodate numbers up to and over 150 comfortably but Bertie's can and the room and its lighting always look stylish and welcoming with the bonus of a separate bar on arrival. I would recommend it to anyone arranging a large function.

I would like to say a BIG thankyou to the Berties staff for the hire of the Cocktail Lounge on Saturday 13th May 2023 For my 60th Birthday Tea Party. 58 girl's in their 50's style outfit's. The food was delicious for the tea party. The evening buffet Pie, chips and beans spot on . The Bar staff , Dj and the catering staff. Thankyou. Mrs Jane Cummin xx
