We had booked up to stay here on Sat 22 to Mon 24 March as we had arranged to meet up with friends who live in Harleston. It was actually our 35th Wedding Anniversary on Sat 22 March and so we opted to upgrade to a deluxe room and were given room 38. The room was superb and we really loved our visit. The greeting we had from the two lovely ladies at reception was second to none. We both felt so at home and could not find fault in any of our two night stay. Breakfast each morning was excellent. On Sunday 23 March we helped ourselves to a buffet style Full English Breakfast which was piping hot and excellent. On Monday 24 March we had to give our order to our lovely waitress which was fine and after about 15-20mins our breakfasts appeared. I must say I did prefer the buffet style method as there was no delay to you eating and heading off to see sites around the area.||On Sunday night we opted to have an evening meal at the hotel. Again the food was just simply superb and we really cannot fault the quality or the service. Another bonus here is that drinks are realistically priced and you don't feel like you are overpaying.||There is ample parking at this place and it even has an overspill car park if required. The entrance in to the hotel off the main road can be tricky as the traffic does really fly past at quite a speed, so just have your wits about you and indicate early. ||If we are ever in this area again, without doubt, we would opt to stay here in a heartbeat and we would highly recommend a visit to others.

I had a lovely weekend. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good, evening meal was outstanding. The staff are all happy to help and such a good team. The hotel is in a great place, between two small quaint towns. A cocktail in the new gorgeous garden was the perfect end to my visit to suffolk. I will be returning

Nice place to go to a friendly atmosphere. Staff great 👍 👌. Food is very good and quality is marvellous by a very good chef,Adan. General Manager Kate and her staff working very hard. Archie Jamie is very helpful,nothing is too much trouble, and Angie Stacey is on reception as well. Rooms spotless well looked after by the house keeper's,very friendly. Yes, again,if you needed anything. Just ask .
There is some updating going on, but that was not a problem for us.All the staff worked hard to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable time. Try for yourself. These are our opinions and thoughts, no one else's.

We love to go out with the family to dog friendly places. Me and Gertie are usually quite well behaved while the family eat. Last night the family had prawns for starters, apparently they were amazing, then there was a burger and some pork belly served..the wonderful chef brought us out a couple of sausages..heaven!! The guys behind the bar made us feel so at home, such a lovely evening, and so glad this place is so dog friendly!!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful. I came here with a tour group, most of us from the USA. They were all very kind and welcoming, I never felt like they didn't want to help. I talked to Archie one night when he wasn't on shift but swung by to make sure everything was running smoothly, we talked a bit, told us we were more than welcomed back even without a tour group. If I ever make it back to England, I'll make sure to stay here for a night or two.

I recently spent the weekend here with my wife, 3 children and 2 elderley relatives. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by all of the staff. |We started our afternoon in the bar where we sat and had drinks and food from the bar menu. |In the evening we were joined by another 2 elderley relatives for a meal. The menu had some really good options, portion sizes were generous and all the food ordered was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Front of house Chris went over an above to look after us and make us feel welcome. |Access for the elderley was more than sufficient with nice wide corridors, an elevator and large accessible rooms with lovely comfy beds.|Upon leaving the hotel, we discovered that my daughter had left her coat hanging up in the wardrobe. I called the hotel, spoke to Chris and he said don't worry about a thing, I will arrange for it to be posted to your house the next day. |An absolutely great guy who made our stay really enjoyable. |We can't wait to go back again soon and would highly recomnend staying here.

Our room was spotless and comfortable. My full English Breakfast was freshly cooked. |All the staff from reception to the bar and also the cleaners made you feel welcome. |They definitely deserve 5 stars. |We will definitely be back hopefully in the warmer weather. Thank you

We stayed for our 25th Anniversary and as always the staff made us very welcome and were attentive when needed. We were upgraded to an executive room at no extra cost. There was a good selection on the dinner menu, a good choice of drinks, and the breakfast was very good.
