Absolutely stunning hotel, lots of areas to take cute photos and has a chessboard outside for the little ones to play with. Quick service and delicious food. Drinks were a tad expensive but we were only staying for a couple of days so didn’t bother us. All the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful especially Jack 🙂

Wow! We have just how our wedding here and what can I say. From booking the wedding, staying the night before and the day of the wedding nothing was too much trouble. The tiny details, the communication was amazing. Everyone involved with our day made sure it was special. We cannot that them enough. ||The venue is gorgeous, it was set up exactly as we wanted with little extras thrown in. The rooms were amazing, clean spacious and comfortable. ||If you are looking for the perfect place to get married then here it is!

This is an excellent hotel. |Great service and wonderful staff. The food was so good especially the Breakfasts. Rooms are very clean and comfy. I Would definitely stay here again in the future. |Don't let the drive up to the hotel put you off its totally misleading.

Lovely staff and almost everyone very friendly . |Just 2 hiccups and both dealt with differently .|First night Gin & Tonic - undrinkable. Like water only . No slimline in bottle only on pump . Both girls on duty lovely I said I didn't like it and chose a non alcoholic drink instead .|Had a very nice meal -'Tuna steak with sesame seeds and noodles in teriyaki sauce. Delicious .||Wanted to leave staff a tip - not possible on card ! Why not ? ||Tonight very different . Can't drink G&T here so wanted a Bloody Mary . Said they don't have Port ! Also not allowed to serve cocktails . ||This isn't really good enough . |We were too tired to go out again.|Asked for Tomato Juice No ! |Very poor service at the bar . ||Ordered same meal - Pan fried tuna| Etc . No sesame seeds . No teriyaki|sauce . Tuna very hard & overbooked . Completely tasteless meal .||Unlike the first night when staff checked (3 times) was everything OK|Despite collecting a half eaten|meal the young man wasn't interested enough to enquire .||So very disappointing in several areas . We wanted to relax in the hotel|but the absence of decent drinks at the bar and the rather narrow menu|- I don't eat meat -means that we will look elsewhere on our next visit to Liverpool.

5 star reviews for most of the staff, I had to ask for receipts for my drinks on the night as my prices were changing throughout the night for the same drinks. Few times I was charged for a double when it was a single gin. But the rest, hotel rooms and staff were very attentive. Met with friendly receptionist and food was gorgeous

This place is fantastic. The setting is very rural and great for walks and runs. |The town is about 3 miles away. Access is well signposted through an industrial park, but you step out of the back car park in to endless fields and countryside. |They seem to offer wedding packages, I can see why with the back drop of an historic Manor house.

Superb friendly hotel. All the staff are extremely willing to help and are always friendly. Bed was lovely and comfortable has it had a mattress topper on it so not the normal hard bed that you normally get in hotels. Breakfast was excellent plenty of selection and well cooked. Great location for us as we had a meeting on the trading estate but would recommend for anyone going to the Skelmersdale area.

Lovely hotel that we have stayed at for Aintree races for the last few years. Very good staff who look after us very well year after year. We eat here for the first time this year and the food was also very good. All in all top notch value for the reasonable prices on offer.
