Excellent stay. This is quite a modern hotel on the outskirts of Lincoln. Easy to access and plenty of free parking. Unfortunately the pool was being repaired, so was unavailable during our stay so we were given complimentary breakfast for our two night stay. Staff are so friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of information about Lincoln and found bus timetables into Lincoln. Changed rooms for us as the initial room was a twin and we preferred a double (our fault for booking the wrong room). Had food and drinks in the bar, which was very good. Breakfast was brilliant. Plenty of choice and kept fresh despite it being the usual buffet style. Overall we could not fault this hotel and had a fantastic stay. We will be keeping an eye on it so that we can return again when the pool is open.

We recently organised a 'Celebration of Life' event at The Bentley. Hayley and Debra were absolutely fantastic in helping to get all the details right, with empathy, courtesy and care. On the day, Ryan was superb in getting the room laid out right. Sophie offered a really warm welcome to our guests. The buffet was wonderful, and the service overall was first class. Thank you to all the staff who really helped us at a difficult time. We appreciated all of your help.

Fine stay but booked a king size bed and were given a small looking double. A bit dated but at a decent price we weren't expecting the Ritz. Staff were nice and helpful.

Arrived end of november left begining dec.|Staff were all friendly.|The room was spacious and very clean as was the ensuite. Yes its outdated (last done in 1999) so what, it was clean and tidy, bed was comfy, pillows no problem they had about 4 types, hubby needed a longer extension lead, again no problem.|Even though they had a christmas party going on, our evening meal arrived swiftly, like the bedroom the rest of the areas we wandered about were so clean, when guests left, staff were straight away cleaning and wiping down.|Back in our bedroom i heard the compere once and then must have nodded off, so obviously it wasnt too noisy in our room. As i rarely sleep.|Thank goodness for the hairdryer as i had forgotten mine!|Will definitely be returning in the future.

Had a two week stay here as part of a training course for work . Staff was very friendly and polite. The facilities were very good and the food was lovely with a great selection. In particular jo (front of house) looked after us throughout the two weeks was friendly funny and all round lovely person she is an asset to the hotel.

I’ll start by saying the staff is very lovely and helpful.

But my god, the rest of it needs a refresh. The whole thing is so outdated, it feels like something from the shining.

The pool was completely closed off for the 2 nights we were there, we were told this a few days before, baring in mind we booked the hotel for its facilities, in particular the pool. We got upgraded to one of the suites but there were so many issues still.

The hot water wasn’t working on the first night, and the shower was leaking.

The bathtub was stained, so were the curtains in the room. The fridge in the room was so noisy at night we had to turn it off. The next morning at breakfast, the table linen was stained.

There are no plugs next to the bed

No one came to clean our room either..

The fact that they’re charging what they’re charging for this kind of service and amenities is insane.

Again, the staff is lovely and it really made a difference but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Hotel is really easy to find and just off a main road which means it easy to get to nearby areas such as Lincoln and Newark. Even though it is just off a main road, there is little traffic noise heard in the rooms. Medium size gym with a good range of machines and a big pool. Lovely selection for breakfast and the entire team we welcoming and helpful.

Doesn't look appealing from the outside. However, nice and clean and pleasant staff. our room was close to the road the noise from the traffic at times was quite loud. breakfast catered for all and was very nice ,all facilities were not available we was pre warned of this would use again 👍
