Stayed as a family group including two young children. Welcome couldn't have been warmer and the three rooms we took were lovely and clean and the family room was very specious indeed. The B&B is in a beautiful setting on the outskirts of Preston. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and they catered for the two children who (of course!) wanted something off the menu. Very very pleasant stay and highly recommended.

We stayed only 1 night for a family get together in a nearby restaurant. Room was spacious for 2 older teens and us parents . We had elderly aunt in room next door . Bathroom was large . We had a lovely breakfast in the morning and sunny morning the gardens looked lovely . Beds not the most comfortable and seemed a bit old . Decor and carpets a bit tired but definitely clean so cannot complain at price . Would def recommend this over an impersonal hotel chain at similar price. Highly recommend and would use again for sure . Very welcoming hosts .

Birch Croft is a very well kept B&B, tucked away in pretty, mature grounds. My host was Susan who was warm and hospitable. I had the Green Room--spacious with everything I could need and a lovely en suite. The bed was like home from home: very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Very quiet area. Strongly recommend: I will certainly be back!

I have stayed here a few times over the years. Usually greeted by Susan, who is very helpful and knowledgable about the local area. She always remembers which room we have had and asks if I would like the same. It is a large and bright room with an ensuite and it lovely to stay in a familiar room, feels like a home from home. Breakfast is tasty and nothing is too much trouble, sometimes Susan is joined by John, and it's always fun to hear his stories. But they are both good and knowing how to balance leaving you alone or chatting. Lots of parking and the wifi is good.

What a gem of a BnB. I needed somewhere very Covid safe where I could stay whilst visiting my sister who is receiving palliative care nearby. Susan could not have have been more helpful and gave me my own area for breakfast. It was comfortable, spotless and friendly with a tasty well cooked breakfast to send me on my way.

My friend and I originally enquired about 2 singles but one of the owners Susan suggested the family room would work out cheaper between us. It was a nice big ensuite room plus there's a lounge, sunroom and garden for guests to take advantage of! The owners are friendly and helpful and breakfast was really good. We enjoyed our stay here.

I don't think you can argue with £45 a night for a really nice B&B. There is a lounge + Sky TV if you want it. My room was large and clean with a nice en-suite. I'm not keen on electric showers as they aren't powerful enough but this is only a minor issue. Hosts were most helpful.

Just had a 2 night stay. Immaculate accommodation. Room small but ideal for a business trip. Quiet, no disturbance. Lovely owner, great breakfast. I will definitely return when working in the area again
