Booked a 5 night trip over the August bank holiday weekend and despite the appalling weather, we all had a great time. Staff are brilliant and offered to fork the ground in our awning to help drain the water quicker when we had particularly bad downpour.
Although the campsite was busy, it was still peaceful. Nice size pitches and the shower facilities were very clean, and hot. Good facilities for kids, splash pool was a hit when we were blessed with a bit of sun. Highlight for us was the bus service that came to the campsite and took us into Swanage for the day.
Easy access to Wareham Forest. We would happily return to this campsite.

Booked a pitch to stay over the Christmas and New Year period in our caravan. We actually came home 3 days early as I fell poorly and so did both our dogs. Good and bad for us unfortunately on this one. The good - large clean site, plenty of bins, Ian (staff) friendly and helpful, good for dogwalking, quite location, toilets/shower areas clean and warm, open all year, good base for visiting places like Corfe Castle, Poole etc., easy to get to the site, EV chargers, hard standing, hairdryer in the shower block. The bad .... no privacy, you are very much on top of each other (this would be horrendous in the summer when it's full), no privacy in the shower area, you had to come out of the cubicle to get dressed and no one wants to see a 60 year old bum, the water over the sinks was extremely hot and if that didn't scold you, wait until you put your hands under the air drier! The TV signal is bad so take a long aerial, the wifi/internet/signal is so bad you cannot get anything while you are there, even with their log-in, dark site so take a torch, even to the toilet blocks. Although not connected with the site but is the nearest place to eat is the Silent Woman Inn, expensive and poor. This one is not for us, sorry.

We are staying here at the moment - it’s been a very happy experience . Not a child to be seen- in the school holidays ,we stay at adult only sites. We arrived out of hours after a very fraught day of mechanical problems and received a warm welcome and were placed on an overnight pitch , with electricity and water , at a reduced charge. Some areas have caravans in well spaced rows , but there are more spacious areas next to the woods . Our power point also has a TV aerial , which is a bonus- especially for the England match! The staff are unfailingly available and friendly and happily tractored our van onto the pitch as our mover had broken. There’s a well stocked shop and food vans visit at weekends. The site opens directly into lovely Wareham forest and is a 5 minute drive into Wareham. We will definitely be back.

We have just arrived home after spending 3 nights at this Touring Park. Where do I begin, no privacy, rows and rows of caravans, no hedges between, everyone walking through the caravans, kids riding everywhere on bikes, a sign said no ball games n ear the play area and toilets but it was a continuous football pitch and no Wardens came to tell them to go to the games field. and yet my Husband went to fly a drone in the EMPTY games fields and was told to stop what a joke. Kids running around bare feet in pyjamas until whatever time. We went to bed at 10 pm and still it was going on. great big tent and van set up in the middle of the field near thew showers, OMG I counted 4 women and 8 kids. Shower left running, blocked toilet, pee all over the floor, kids turning on the dog wash. Old fashioned showers, no seat or bench inside the shower, water hits the curtain, no room to dry and get dresses, large bench outside are we all supposed to leave our things out there and get dried and dressed there. I am not into communal areas. 2 blocks of showers and toilets, 4 showers ONLY in each one, both down one end, nothing up towards the top end. Nuts, for that many people. Went to take 2 grandchildren to the paddling pool at 4.30 pm Saturday to find it closed. !!!! The whole place is a kids playground. We usually stay at very nice Adults only Sites but we had our 2 grandchildren with us. Why did I choose this place, never again. We went out all the time. Neighbours in the next caravan, pulled all the blinds and curtains in their awning, I said hello and got ignored. Lots of caravans here permanently. For the charges over £60 per night we have stayed in beautiful Sites for this money, then £1 per device per day for WiFi. Just a money making place, no flowers, ne hedges, no privacy.

This site is amazing, I have been on a seasonal pitch for 10 years. The staff are lovely and very helpful. They will always support and assist you in particular, in extreme weather conditions, nothing is too much trouble for them. The facilities are always clean and immaculate, I have never experienced a cold shower. They are always there to help, and they watch and take care of your unit when you are not on site, they have ensured that they have installed great security. I would 100% recommend this site.

Lovely campsite with friendly and extremely helpful staff. Kids absolutely loved it here, playing on the park, in the paddling pool and generally having a great time meeting new friends. Facilities are great, lovely hot showers. Very chilled site and great for walking or cycling in the forest. Highly recommended 🙂
