Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre - Marlow

I stayed at this property for one night for a business trip. The hotel is easily accessible, is surrounded by greenery and despite being a sports center reigns tranquility. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the USB sockets are truly appreciated by those from outside the UK. Great breakfast. Friendly and practical staff.

Stayed here for a night to go to rewind festival. Was told on check in that breakfast is served at 6.30 hot food at 7 but it wasn’t ready till 8 on a weekend.fruit salad was still frozen.Room was big and bed comfortable. Bathroom light was on a sensor. So when you walked in it came on . So when I went to toilet in the night the bright light came on . So you end up wide awake

Great sports center, but mostly centered around it's national sporting endeavours. Facilities are usually a bit less well kept in the public facing areas but if you pay for a year's membership up front it is good value for money.

Main frustration is that all the tennis facilities do not fall under the main Bisham Abbey membership. Real shame that this is not all encompassing as I'd certainly pay more for the convenience!

Delightful! The only thing that didn't work out was me - and I wish I had. The gym facilities are amazing. We held our work strategy meetings in the Work Hub which had water, coffee, tea service, comfortable chairs and breakout areas, quiet, with good monitors and white boards. The hotel rooms were basic/modern, but large and airy - with windows that open and nice natural light. The breakfast was nice, with indoor/outdoor eating and a large selection of eats and coffee blends. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom towels large and fluffy. Easy walk to the Abbey and the River Thames. Marlow is nearby (by car at least) with quaint stores and restaurants (recommend Ivy, eating on the terrace outside in their English garden.) The area is beautiful and I feel fortunate that work picked this venue for our meetings.|

Although advertised as a sports venue it is set in nice grounds with a lovely abbey.
The rooms were spacious, clean and bed comfortable.
Breakfast was buffet style full English or continental. Very good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Kall for his help and assistance.
Definitely will stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at Bisham Abbey this wwekend, room, comfortable, nice bathroom, lovely surroundings, walk down to the thames, only slighht minus points, steam room could have been hotter, i appreciate there would be a lot of people using the steam room and Sauna, they could have been a little cleaner, brekfat great, just heat the plates a little more please. Overall excellent place to stay, just down the road to lovely Marlow.

This is a hidden gem. It is primarily a training facility for sports teams and individuals. Staying here provides access to a gym, sauna and squash court. There is also easy access to a beautiful part of the Thames, an old Abbey, and the ability to hire the use of tennis courts and other sporting spaces. Room includes a very good breakfast with espresso machine access. There is a large lounge that has a good counter in it that includes beer and provides hot dinner. Definitely inspiring to be surrounded by extremely fit athletes! It is also a reasonable walk into Marlow or a very quick Uber.
