Myself and my Boyfriend booked to stay two nights in the pool room and couldn’t be happier! We didn’t want to leave! The staff were incredible! So friendly really helpful and approachable. The whole vibe was so relaxed

The room we booked was perfect for us, by the pool quite and away from everything, nothing too fancy, but everything we could want as we spent a lot of time out exploring the area and in the pool!
We were provided with what we needed for our stay in the room as well as it being nice and clean!

The area is breathtaking and the hotel itself is a beautiful building. Looking over the Cliff over the cove and not even a minutes walk to the beach itself!

We had breakfast each morning which was beautifully cooked/prepared, really great service and smiling faces to start our day!

We came down in the car, although no onsite car park you can park in Lulworths main visitor one and get a discount/permit as your staying which was great!

We can’t wait to come back hopefully next year! Already planning our trip!

Went there on a holiday, for our first wedding anniversary stayed one night 17 to 18 September, we booked for the poolside room, got upgraded to the sea view room. Very accommodating host. Will be visiting again.

Owners and their pets were lovely. Fantastic location with a nice view from our room. Only complaint is that the room could have been a bit cleaner, there was mold on the ceiling above the shower.

Family of four stayed for 3 nights in summer. Rooms were comfortable, staff were friendly and location was fantastic. The games room was loved by the kids, great for a few frames of mini snooker before dinner.

Fabulous B&B now ...no longer a hotel as such. Location is unparralleled, overlooking the fabulous Lulworth Cove, 50-100 yards from the beach. Room comms (Netflix, Prime, I-player etc, if you need that stuff) were great, perhaps if the weather is bad. Hey, look this is not a plush hotel, it is a home at the end of the day and we found the room we had was excellent. It was actually a bedroom and a separate lounge (flat screens in both rooms). In essence shabby chic describes it well and reminds me of Pink Sands in Harbour town in a strange way, but not as plush of course. Breakfast was good. Discounted parking at the heritage centre was a great bonus too. The thing is- out of all the places to stay in the Cove this place has the outside space around the pool area to relax and unwind (and still get the view across the cove-Far from the Madding Crowd on the beach), where many of the others do not. Phillip was a great host and we cannot recommend the place highly enough

Tired rooms, beautiful location.

Owner is dreadful, who proudly displays a Reform UK poster in the window to tell you exactly the sort of person he is. Such a shame, as it could and should be so much more.

A lovely quaint little hotel set in the beautiful little village of Lulworth. They have a very good menu that was well cooked.

They also have a reasonable selection of local beers to try.

We had an attic room so thought the views would be excellent. However our room was at the back of the hotel which meant that we had an excellent view of the cliff face which is only a couple of feet from the window. This was the only negative point but didn't spoil our stay.

We had the best time at Rudds / Bishops. Warm welcome and fascinating stories by Philip, the owner, delicious meal, wine and fish and 5stars services. We had an amazing time. Thank you so much. We will be back for a week-end. And also visit the second location in London.
