Trying to do something special and a little different to celebrate a birthday at this time isn't easy. Usually we'd go out but aren't feeling comfortable to do that just yet. When the leaflet for Bishop's Kitchen dropped through the letterbox it looked impressive, definitely a good incentive to try. I was unaware of the 48hr notice for food but when I called staff were so accommodating and were able to have my order ready for collection same day...perfect!
I ordered the beef and ale pithivier meal with an extra portion of vegetables. The food was absolutely beautiful! The pie is packed full of meat, delicious and the vegetables are so flavoursome. I cannot fault the customer service or the food, a 100% positive experience will definitely recommend and use again. Thank you for bringing this to Bishop Auckland, five stars all the way!
