So lovely. We called to book and said we were bringing a dog so arrived to our table made up with a dog bed and water bowl! Such a thoughtful thing to do! Really good, attentive service and amazing food.

Just home after a delicious Sunday lunch at bistro en glaze. I had roast beef dinner and meat was perfect, very tender and tasty. Food red hot and well presented. Staff really pleasant service excellent and the environment is really quirky, bright, contemporary and pristine.

We stayed here after our first day's walking (15 miles) on the Hadrian's Wall Path. We checked in at their Bistro and were taken up to our room. This was large and had a huge bathroom, with a very much needed bath, so I had a long soak. We ate at the Bistro and the dog were both spoiled with lots of treats. The food was very good and the service also. We also had breakfast in the Bistro and again, this was very good. Would recommend.

Whilst I am a regular here, you could think I'm bias, but you could also take from that, that to be a regular, the place has to be good for people to keep going back and become regulars!

We just popped in for a Sunday dinner, which we used to do every week, but are trying not to eat out as much, and my God, whilst the Sunday dinner was lovely as it always is, the standouts today were the Scotch Egg starter, and Chocolate Mousse dessert.

I have said it for a couple of years now and I'll say it again, some of the food here from Euan is levels above anywhere in the local area, and even centre of Newcastle - and the service from Giovanna & team are the icing on the cake.

I have only been to the restaurant (I haven’t stayed here). The food is out of this world without a doubt Michelin star standard! The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the ambience is very relaxing. A hidden gem tucked away In a pretty Northumbrian village.

This bistro is a must go to. The food is amazing, fresh & well presented. Oh and the sticky toffee pud, you have to try. Staff are incredible and so sweet & helpful and friendly. They love dogs which is so nice 👍. I would travel to dine here, highly highly recommend 🎖️

Only ate here for my mams birthday.
It's was a wonderful experience for our party of five, the atmosphere had a nice vibe, the staff friendly and informative, most importantly the food was delicious.
Great place excellent staff great value food.
