Went on a Friday night for Christmas staff meal. Service was unsatisfactory. Long waiting times due to a mix up, we booked at 7:15pm and only had our mains at 9:30pm. Extremely late. Food when it did come was nice, they definitely rushed the creme brulee as it did not have the caramelised top. Been here before and service had been good, hopefully this was just a one off.

Cute little "shed" by the river. Not very traditional Italian recipe but does the work. Very heavy on the parmigiano, you don't really taste much of the other ingredients. Tiramisu is 6/10. Carbonara needs a total revamp.

My wife and myself had the Soiree Gastronomique menu, I don't know how they can produce a menu of this quality for the price and the wine flight is very good value for the price.

The starter (Camembert nice taste, but comes with 2 small pieces of supermarket bread - ruins the whole dish). Main - chicken medallions in honey glaze - super dry and no honey glaze. Crème brûlée for dessert was good but no crunch on the top layer.

I went there with friends on a Saturday. The service was great. The decorations are simple and giving French bistrot vibe. As for the food, Bistrot Pierre is a chain of restaurants. Tajine, hummus? Not so French but I imagine they try to accommodate all tastes. My main was steak frite, it was good but it is just not French and the meat for some of us was a bit dry. Knowing most of their menu is meaty, that’s not a good thing. We are all French/ Belgian and we all thought this place was not up to French food standards. Overall it is a nice place but I wouldn’t say it’s French.

Had dinner here on Sunday during the bank holiday weekend. Service was slow, it wasn't particularly busy but but they only appeared to have 2 staff working front of house. I guess they didn't expect it to be too busy but either way that meant a long wait for drinks and starters. Food was reasonably good but I was a bit disappointed with the calamari starter. Very nice just not enough of it. Also had the fried brie however which was very good. For mains had beef bourguignon which was nice. Crab linguine also good and my daughter had the halloumi burger. Had the cherry profiterole for dessert which was good and the chocolate pot which was fantastic, very rich and full of flavour. Too sweet for my daughter and wife but I loved it. Food is generally quite expensive however they do have 2 course and 3 course deals which are probably better value than what I did which was good off piste. 12% service charge is added on.

I went to this lovely place, and the food was really tasty, nicely presented, and there was plenty on the plate (which I appreciate). I had a starter, main course, and dessert, and honestly, I was stuffed. The only thing they could work on is the timing of bringing out the dishes – having more consistent gaps and serving things in the right order would make it even better.
