Chrissie was first contacted in February 2024 with a view to providing a buffet for Carole’s 80th birthday celebration. This came about following a glowing recommendation from a colleague.
All arrangements were quickly made and a menu agreed.
On the chosen date Chrissie arrived and set about laying out the food in a most professional manner.
In short a well prepared and presented table which attracted so many compliments from those who attended.
A very efficient and friendly lady.
Would highly recommend.

Chef Chrissie is amazing! On my husbands 60th birthday, we booked Chrissie to served hot tapas to 50 guests, We also had a Mediterranean grazing table which was also fabulous, everyone at the party loved her food. I have to be honest I have never used a caterer before who cooks in my kitchen, but it was perfect! I would highly recommend her & She will be my first call when having a get together

We booked Chrissie to celebrate our dad's 70th birthday following a recommendation.
First time we had all experienced dinning this way (6 adults ,3 kids), being in the comfort of your own surroundings while someone cooks a 3 course meal and serves you as well as the washing up! ..... we will without a doubt be booking Chrissie again! Her food was exceptional, delicious and presented beautifully and Chrissie was a very warm lovely person. We had antipasto to start , beef Wellington and chicken ballotine main and trio of our choice of puds and the children had crudités with hummus, pizza and brownie with icecream. All of which recieved high praise from us all, kids included and most of all our dad ( he can be hard to impress when it comes to dinning out). It was a much more enjoyable experience than eating out, no rushing , no delays, gaps between courses just right and kids could go off and play. Prior to the day and us deciding on what courses we would have, back and forth messages/emails with Chrissie she answered all questions and queries and made suggestions. Highly recommend, food was faultless, Chrissie is lovely and we were all in agreement one the best food/dinning experiences we've had 10 out of 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Unfortunately no photos to upload, we just wanted to get stuck in! ? Thank you Chrissie ? xxxx

Chrissie has provided some amazing food for both my family and a group of elders. We have had afternoon teas and picnics and are looking forward to an anti pasto grazing platter later this month. Nothing is too much trouble , the food is delicious and beautifully presented, always delivered with a smile. I would highly recommend Bits and Bites.

I have had afternoon tea from Chrissie twice now and enjoyed every mouthful each time. The sweet treats were baked to perfection and very appealing on the eye. The sandwiches were so tasty and fresh. Second time round, due to a fussy eater, I had a few specific requirements but nothing was too much trouble for Chrissie. I was also able to hire a cake stand too which saved me the trouble of arranging everything. A wonderful experience. Bits and Bites will definitely be at the top of my list for any other of my catering needs.

Chrissie catered for our evening wedding reception on 1st June this year and we couldn't have been happier. The food was really tasty and of high quality. We have had some great feedback too from our guests with lots of comments about how lovely the food was.

Communication with Chrissie was excellent before the day, she would respond promptly to any questions we had. She also set up on the evening and came collected containers etc the next day, which was a massive help to us and made things go really smoothly.

Great food and service and would highly recommend Bits and Bites for your event.

My husband and I had a fantastic three-course meal from Bits and Bites for St Valentine's Day.

Chrissie went out of her way to make everything just right, accommodating my vegetarian requirements and adapting the main menu for me. And she checked with her fishmonger to make sure my husband's seabass would be sustainably sourced.

Everything was prepped and delivered for us, looking and smelling beautiful and all ready to heat and serve. The food was plentiful, beautifully presented and truly delicious!

The dauphinoise potatoes were a particular highlight and the crème brûlée was amazing. As well as starters, main courses and delicious desserts, Chrissie also included some stunning hand made macarons as a bonus. We were too full to eat them on the night so they made a lovely treat the next day.

It made such a fantastic change to have a lockdown meal that wasn't your standard takeaway, or cooked by me! I'd absolutely recommend Bits and Bites for any special occasion or event.
