Liked: The EHU pitch was great, lots of room.

Excellent value for money.

Good walking area.

The shop looked good, selection of products and foodstuffs to buy but was not open during our stay.

Shower block and toilets great.

Overall a quiet place to camp over night.

20-25 minutes drive from the station/ centre we were there for a wedding

Liked: A lovely quiet site. Beautiful scenery and a friendly welcome. Stayed local for our first venture in our caravan. A nice little shop with basic essentials. A clean toilet/ shower block. A lovely little lake to walk the dogs around.
Reasonable pitching fees.
Will return.

Liked: The site is nice and well equipped. I liked the fact that each pitch has it's own water tap.
I loved the pitches around the lake. I must pitch here next time, it's so peaceful first thing in the morning. Lots of fish can be seen swimming around at this time of day. Lovely.

Disliked: It didn't affect me too much but as there are only 2 showers it could become very busy at peak times of day.

Liked: We stayed for a few night as our first solo camping trip. The owners were friendly and happy to help. The site was quiet and the views in the bottom field were lovely. The shop was very handy if needed, and the fire pit hire was a great addition to our stay. The toilets were clean, much nicer than the camping toilets we are used to, so have no complaints in that department! We followed both the suggested local walks you can ask for as written on the board outside the shop. Would very happily visit again, and we hope to in the future. Thank you!

Liked: I have stayed twice at this site this season and had a great experience both times.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The pitches are generously sized and we were able to have two large tents with awnings and large private area between.
A water point is close to the tent pitch and electrical hook ups are easily accessible.

Showers and wash up facilities are cleaned regularly and there was plenty of hot water available at all times.

A great little shop is on site with essentials available and I’m sure that if you forgot or needed something the staff would help you out.

There is a fishing lake that seemed popular, I don’t fish but it provided some nice scenery to walk off the BBQ!

The site is in a great location with lots to do and see nearby.

Liked: Lovely site. Great location. The ablutions are basic but exactly what is needed. There’s a fabulous fishing lake and great shop on site. The pitches are well spaced out and large. Local pubs and places to visit. I stayed in the height of a bad storm this weekend and the sloping site was a godsend as there was little in the way of flooding and damage. Friendly people, what’s not to like about it.

Disliked: The toilets and showers are clean but a little dated. That’s all.

It's a nice site in a good location. A really friendly place with good size pitches. Very quiet. We had a caravan grass pitch in the top field. The only downside was the showers. The toilets were lovely and clean, but the showers were not at all hot, and drainage was poor, so the shower tray was full of bits from the previous persons shower. This is an easy fix so couldn't understand why it hasn't been done. Hot water is a must please.

Liked: We had a good stay overall - the cabin was spacious and clean, beds were really comfortable. Loved being so close to the lake for fishing. Staff were friendly and welcoming as were the other campers.

Disliked: There was a constant bad smell near the cabin - not sure if it was stagnant water or some septic system overflow? We would have liked to sit outside much more but couldn’t stand the stench! It did put a dampener on an otherwise lovely stay.
