We booked a double room and was pleasant and spacious. We had a family crisis that nearly meant we couldn't come but the owner was very accommodating. Facilities were better than originally thought with communal lounge and kitchen upstairs and down with fridge cooker and washer. Tea coffee and complimentary breakfast items available however we did not use these. Location good within 10 minutes walk of town centre and local park. Great value for money.

Cheap room but there were stains on the bedsheets and the floors weren't the cleanest . The room we had at the front looked like it needed a top coat of paint and overall the room looked unfinished . Room was basic but quiet and bed comfortable.

Last friday, I had a chance to stay a night at Blackwood Residence, it was very exhausted day, however, when I arrived at the residence, it was really quit and comfortable. I love staying night there. In the morning, the complementary breakfast was amazing in this price range. I love to stay there in future.

The walls are paper thin so you can here every word said in the close rooms. I was awaken at 6-30 with banging doors and noise from other rooms and it didn't stop. worst nights sleep ever. Will not be coming back as nothing can be done about it the place is clean but built on the cheap you might as well all be in one flat.
