What a delightful experience all around- hospitality at its finest. The hosts’ attention to detail was amazing, everything you could ever need was there, with lots of additional thoughtful gestures that made me feel appreciated as a guest.|The house is beautifully designed, immaculately clean, comfy and cosy, and I much enjoyed the collection of art. Breakfast was exquisite as well, and I will be back- in the summer next time so I can enjoy the garden too.

Friendly hosts, peaceful location. Very comfortable accomodation, great shower & excellent breakfast. Stayed one night as a solo traveller. Was made very welcome in this beautifully refurbed house, and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Last minute booking as attended a meeting locally..... Wow, what a fantastic place to stay.

The room was lovely, nice smelling toiletries, fresh flowers and a super comfortable bed. The hosts Chris, Sue and the adorable Blaze were friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. I love dogs, so had the requested opportunity to meet Blaze, as she isn't allowed in the guest areas!

The house and gardens are stunning, one of the best breakfasts I've had in recent memory, I highly recommend the mushrooms! I will 100% try and return..... Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely 3 night break staying here! Chris and Sue are fantastic hosts. The room is beautifully decorated with such a comfortable bed, just what we needed after a long walk in the forest! They have really thoughts about every detail and little touches such as the chocs and herbal tea in the room. And of course the breakfast was amazing! Far from the usual greasy English breakfast, there is a really varied choice to suit all tastes. i recommend the avocado and poached eggs! Its probably the best B and B I've stayed in!!

My partner and I stayed here for two nights on his birthday. What can I say other than this was the perfect getaway. Chris and Sue are absolutely charming and made us feel so very welcome. They went the extra mile to provide vegan food and drink for me - breakfast was exceptional. The bedroom we stayed in was perfect with a comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and it was all spotlessly clean. The gardens are fabulous and well maintained. Oh - and the hens in the garden are beautiful, not forgetting Blaise, the delightful resident terrier. We’ll definitely be back - hope we can stay longer next time.💚

What a wonderful find - this truly is a luxury bed and breakfast.|The warmest welcome from Chris on arrival to what I can only describe as ‘a little bit of heaven’. A beautifully decorated and well loved ‘home’ which being a guest you are lucky to have the opportunity to enjoy. |Our room (no.2) the one with the 4 poster bed is indeed very special. Also, one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on - so you can be sure of a very good night’s sleep. A great sized room with a fabulous view. The perfect en-suite with its very sumptuous bath and not one but 2 overhead showers.|Some very delightful touches like a decanter with just enough sherry for two - plenty of tea and coffee and homemade flapjack biscuits made by Sue.|Last but not least the breakfast and wow!! Full breakfast on the first morning which really was perfectly prepared and was delicious. Sourdough pancakes on the 2nd morning - fluffy and light. Yum!|Chris and Sue are absolutely charming and I would highly recommend staying here.|5

Making the choice to stay at Blaisdon House was simple, the website is so professionally presented and when we spoke with Sue and Chris, the owners, we were sold! What a wonderful couple, kind, good humoured and so attentive to our every need. They could not have done more for us, or made us feel any more welcome; lovely people. The home itself, and it is a home, not just a house, is very, very special. It has a walmth and an ambience that simply mirrors that of our hosts. There is a beauty and charm to Blaisdon House that we have failed to see in all of our years of travel, it is idylic, quaint, stunning and comfortable, all in equal measures. My partner and I stayed in the Supior Room, and indeed it was, nothing is overlooked, from the freshly cut flowers to the chocolates on the pillows, home baked flapjacks and complimentary sherry. Wonderful. Breakfast is an experience all in itself, with lovely home cooked, locally sourced ingredients. (Both Chris and Sue take credit for this, it was faultless). The room has everything you could possibly need and great views into the breathtaking gardens, which are truly beautiful, so well kept, with an amazing variety of flowers, trees, shrubs and freshly grown produce for the kitchen. There are even chickens, though I couldn't name them all, oh, and a little dog, who I can name; Blaze; so cute. There is so much to do in the surrounding area, which is equally beautiful, whichever way you travel, local pubs and restaurants serving fantastic food, caves, steam train rides, a wonderful castle and so much more. The Cathedral in Gloucester is a must. Thank you Sue and thank you Chris, what a pleasure it was to meet you and for welcoming us into your home. Carl and Trish (Booger and Pat) xx
