This is a amazing restaurant and I highly recommend it. You need to book ahead especially if coming to Swanage on holiday. I had the belly of Pork and it was superb, the crackling was crisp and crunchy but not chewy, fishing boats didn't go out today as stormy weather .had rhubarb, ginger and orange crumble for dessert , really tasty.

We have been to Bliss several times and we love it! We have always enjoyed our meal there so we decided to use Bliss as our wedding caterer and we couldn't have chosen anyone better.

Each wedding guest was able to choose from 3 different starters, mains and deserts (all of which looked and tasted delicious) and the staff were fantastic! It was so easy to communicate with Bliss and nothing was ever too much trouble.

The smoked salmon pate is to die for and all their homemade deserts are incredible. Highly recommend!

Lovely atmosphere and colour palette. The staff were friendly. There was a bit of a wait for the food because it was incredibly popular. However, it was worth it, the food was absolutely delicious: top quality nosh. I had the fillet steak (rare), which, in my opinion, was a better quality than that found at a few other restaurants I've been to. Overall, it was fantastic, the flavours balanced well and the potatoes/veg complimented it wonderfully. Although the tomatoes threw the dish off a bit. The deserts were also scrumptious. 10/10 would recommend.

Truly exceptional bistro in its class.

Fairly minimal modern decor. Interesting menu. Excellent cooking with lots of subtle flavours.
Attentive and friendly service. Good value for money. Highly recommended? No : very highly recommended!!!

(We took a detour from Sussex to Cornwall to spend a couple of nights in Swanage but mostly to revist Bliss which we first discovered by chance in 2019. )

I have eaten here many times and often make a special trip from Dorchester as the ingredients are all local and the dishes are just delicious! My favourites are the Bliss Bowls and their desserts are just dreamy!!! I had a zingy and indulgent raspberry pavlova with lime and loved it!
The service is so friendly and they never get an order wrong, which a lot of places do.
Great wine selection too!
Their new takeaway offering and the BBQ and picnic salad bowls are so handy! Love the Bliss Food Co and always recommend!

Great experience, as soon as we walked in the staff were really helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a beautiful aesthetic and super comfy chairs. The food was delicious, great portion sizes and all were really fresh and healthy. All were served quickly even when the restaurant was filling up. Could not say anything negative about it.

At their open evening I ate divine lemon-oil-flavoured pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil morsels! I actually crave these now as they were so delicious and I've never tasted anything like it. The brownies are so gooey and have nuts in, their thai-flavoured prawns are fabulous too. The service is always A* and they are so friendly and kind. I checked and their vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are extensive and delicious. I will absolutely be returning and want to use their catering service as soon as poss! YUM!
