The worst experience ever. The room wasn’t ready at 4pm and there was nowhere for us to park even though we’d paid and reserved a parking space. We accepted this and said we’d come back in an hour. It was the same when we returned. The bell didn’t work and we had to phone both times for the door to be opened by a very unpleasant and rude woman, “Coco”. She treated us as though we were an inconvenience, not as paying guests. We decided we could not stay in this filthy place and cancelled our booking. The photos on the website must have been taken a long time ago because it is a very run down property and absolutely nothing like a 4* hotel.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the hotel's management would run it into the ground because she is a money crook and was so dishonest about the cost of a room for three night. So that I couldn’t request a refund, she had asked for payment to be made via bank transfer. Absolutely horrible—the heating was purposefully turned off, there was no linen or pillow in the bedroom, and I nearly died from the cold. To ever stay in this hotel again would be preferable to my early death. avoid, avoid!!

The landlord Mary is so friendly and very helpful during our entire stays at the hotel. Our room is so big and clean. Bed is so comfortable. The location was excellent- so near to the beach and high street. Couldn’t recommend more. Keep up the good work.

Myself and my partner travelled to Bournemouth without any accomodation being booked. We were really struggling to find a place to stay when luckily Mary found us a room. Not only did she manage to fit us in, she provided us with a superior room which was absolutely fantastic. ||It was clean, bathroom amenities provided along with tea and coffee. We also had a fridge which proved extremely useful due to the hot weather. ||We found our stay from start to finish to be nothing but brilliant. ||Both Mary and John could not be more helpful. ||It was so good we actually decided to extend our stay by another night, which they provided to us with no fuss at all. ||I can say nothing else other than our stay at Blue Palms was wonderful and we will be returning next year without fail. ||This is one of the nicest experiences I have had. ||Thanks again Mary and John. You made our stay very special.

We stayed for 5 nights in July whist in a dancing comp at the BIC. The B&B was clean, friendly, host could not be more accommodating. The room had a fridge plus microwave and it’s own bathroom with a roll top bath. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the pier & beach. And the owners really went out of their way to help us - adding a small fridge & microwave to our room because they weren't serving breakfast (due to Covid). They also were helpful with 'things to do' suggestions for a young family.||||The rooms aren't exactly uber-modern but the 'quirky charm' comment from another review sums the hotel up nicely.
