Just returned from this hotel. We booked a double and a family room. Book in took a matter of seconds with a friendly receptionist. Rooms exceeded our expectations, large very clean and warm with the most comfortable bed ever. Tea and coffee supplied and plenty of hot water for shower. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. A bonus is the friendly Swan pub next door which serves excellent real ale.

Stopped here a couple of times. Check in is quick. Rooms are always clean. You can hear a little bit of traffic noise from the room if you’re facing the road. ||||The only negatives are that the front main door wasn’t locked throughout the night (I feel like it should be for safety for guests and staff). And check out is at 11 but cleaners are banging on your door before that even with the do not disturb sign on so you can’t relax for the last 10-15 minutes or so.

Polite service, really quiet rooms. Off the main road and the hotel has a quiet time policy.. Wonderful nights sleep in a huge bed.. Good value, with ensuite and plenty of hot water and a warm room.. Breakfast not included. But again this reflected in the price. So not a problem. Beverage facilities provided.

Was a good place to stay, the room was really big i wasn't expecting that. Stayed for 3 nights and every day the room was cleaned spotlessly without fail (including changing the sheets and fresh towels). Only down side was in the room I stayed the changing point wasn't bedside the bed. I know that's me been picky but overall I enjoyed my stay there, and the total price was great.

This was a last minute booking and we paid £49 for a family room which was a queen sized bed (2 large singles attached and fitted together, not just pushed) and a small single bed. There were tea making facilities and two bottles of water provided. The staff were very friendly and booking in was easy. This is a budget hotel so the decor was worn. For example the wood in the bathroom was all chipped and not modern but clean which I find important. They do not do meals here but they have snacks behind the front desk and a vending machine in the hallway. There are plenty of places close by to eat. Parking and WiFi are free.

Absolute joke of a hotel me and my partner thought we'd book somewhere so we could get away for a few nights what a mistake this was. We booked it because It was a great price however on check in the woman was rude to us when we asked her a simple question. Me and my partner went out and arrived back around 11pm however the front door was locked and we spent 20 minutes ringing the buzzer no one was answering it was as if they had fallen to sleep well my question is what happens if there was a fire in the hotel and your reception staff member is asleep Avoid this hotel at all costs

No problems, stayed for a wedding which was in a hotel not far away, in the middle of countryside but managed to get a taxi ok to and from the destination 2 the wedding, think it's a former premier in so still has all the same beds etc would be nice if the pub next door did breakfast
