We visited Boho18 again for a Valentines evening dinner. Always a warm welcome from the attentive staff. We started with a porn star martini, followed by the Baker Tom Ciabatta with oil and balsamic. We then opted for the wild mushroom arancini, cauliflower florets with crispy onions and the. Chicken tenders. The food is always presented perfectly on the small plates not leaving you feel overwhelmed by huge amounts of food. Great chat with the staff as we opted to sit at the bar. A brief chat with Rob the chef, sharing ideas about our love of food. Keep up the excellent work, such a fab-u-lous place to eat. Ian & Jo x

Beautiful place, amazing cocktails and food.
For me the best were the mussels and the squid, and the great variety of wine.
The team couldn't have been nicer.
Sure we will go again.

This was our second visit, having had a great first experience a few weeks ago we thought we’d come back
We booked online a day previous but there was no table laid up ready for us, not a problem as not overly busy but we had booked ahead as didn’t want to chance it on a Friday night. Lovely young waitress showed us to a table & quickly laid us up & provided us with menus, we ordered drinks swiftly but were not told of any menu limitations. On ordering our choices we were then informed that two of our dishes were unavailable, the focaccia had run out & was now ciabatta and no mussels. Bread not an issue & switched to the salmon instead. Food arrived promptly but all hot dishes were served on cold plates. (As a restaurant manager this makes me a bit sad) The food was lovely, well presented & full of flavour . Cleared promptly & dessert menu delivered to be informed no panacotta, on a desert menu with 3 dishes, one not available on a Friday night.. I’d get the unavailability if the place was pumping and maybe at the end of the night/weekend but just coming into peak trading.?
Couldn’t get anyone’s attention to ask for bill as young girl on floor busy with other tables, server behind the bar busy chatting with the 2 people sat at the bar and I’m going to presume the manager sat at the end of the bar on his laptop, completely unaware of the goings on in his restaurant. Paid at bar, sorry guys, didn’t leave a tip as felt extremely disappointed & honestly expected better.
Would we go back? Possibly not based on this experience.

All dishes were perfect. The teriyaki squid was cooked perfectly with very tasty teriyaki creamy sauce. Beef skewers and scallops were perfect too. The best asian twist cuisine I’ve try in the UK.
