Lovely warm welcome. Spotlessly clean and spacious room. Plenty of space to relax outdoors and indoors. Excellent choice for breakfast to set you up for the day. I would definitely recommend this B&B and we will return. From our experience 5 stars are not enough.

Stayed in the Shepherds Hut, Lilly’s Pad. It was wonderful. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable. There is a decking area outside with wonderful views of the fields it is certainly a place to get away from it all and have peace and tranquility. We stayed for three nights and will definitely be back. We were made to feel very welcome by Holly, Colin and Charlene.

I was traveling alone and felt very safe - couldn’t have asked for more attentive and accommodating hosts.

Lots of choice for breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here, thank you! ☺️

We have stayed before in the bed and breakfast and had a lovely stay. We wanted to try the new Shepherds hut which is now available. It was fab!! The hut had everything you need in it. The hut has its own decking with wonderful views over the rolling fields. We had privacy. You can watch the sunrise if you are up early enough. We will return again for sure. Highly recommend

Wow, what a fantastic find. A lovely B&B which felt like home as soon as we arrived. The decor is fabulous and so comfortable. We stayed in bedroom 3 which had views to the front. There was a lovely guest lounge and dinning room which are really comfortable. The outside decking area provides great views. And the stars at night were stunning to watch. ||For breakfasts they catered perfectly for my allergies, nothing was to much trouble. The hosts were all lovely and friendly which made our stay even more special. We will definitely like to return one day. ||||We visited Clovelly which is very, very steep but well worth the visit. Also NT lyford Gorge which is stunning but a strenuous walk.

My husband booked a short get away for our anniversary. Wow. We were not disappointed. Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful house & beautiful people. Our room was beautiful. Very clean. We instantly felt at home. Our hosts were so welcoming, nothing was to much trouble.
We cannot wait to return next year.

Went to stay in the Shepherd's hut for a long weekend break and had a wonderful stay. The hut was clean, bright, tidy and set in a tranquil and beautiful location. The stable door provided a slight breeze when left open during the day. A lovely large comfy bed with crisp linen to sleep on at night after leisurely walks was a welcome reprieve. All amenities were provided and I was impressed with the TV with video player which I watched sipping a cup of mint tea. There is a large secluded decking area with comfortable seating and rocking chair where I had the opportunity to read my book and taken in the fine greenery of the hills whilst watching the sunset. I managed to totally to switch off from the outside world and breathe in fresh outdoor air.
I enjoyed watching the chickens and ducks running around, the cats prancing around the garden and listen to the beautiful sounds of the windchimes. Great hospitality from Holly, Charli and Colin. It felt like a home from home with the bonus of all the views, location and attention to detail of a five star establishment. I would thoroughly recommend if you fancy getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life and you fancy recharging your batteries whilst enjoying wonderful hospitality then do give the shepherd's hut a try!
