Came in with my family for lunch. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a really nice atmosphere. The cafe itself was clean and well organised. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

I have been coming to this cafe for 9 years every week, and i can tell that its food is amazing. Its staff is very experienced, well-hearted and kind.

I have not found any place as comfy as this in the entire oxford area. I would recommend anyone to come by and have my favourite: All day breakfast.

For a first timer, I could have experienced a better customer service. 🙁

I ordered steak pie and chips. When the order arrived, I thought of adding a bit of spice with my meal, and added only a very small portion of the biryani rice I bought from the other vendor in the lobby of Templar Square. I did not intend eating loads of rice as I was looking forward to my steak pie & chips.
Immediately, a staff from the till stood in front of me where I was seated, & STERNLY told me off (felt like a school girl being told off by her teacher) that I should not eat any other food apart from what i bought from them.

It is the HOW it's been communicated. I would understand and feel better if it was professionally explained to me right there.
I think you need to subject your staff (the one who told me off was an Asian lady, not able to get her name unfortunately) to Compassionate customer care workshops.

For me, never again.
There are many other cafes who respect their customers more.

Been coming here for years and years, all lovely staff especially the management (who’ve been there for years too!) food is great too. Recommend their All Day Breakfast, Hunters Chicken Flatbread and the OREO Millshake!

I have been using Boswell's for a while now and I can say that the staff ... coffee and food have been lovely...the staff are really friendly and welcoming.. best coffee and a nice breakfast served on a hot plate which you don't get often...for decent breakfast and a drink for around £11 ain't bad....I highly recommend..
