Our first visit to Bowland Retreat Lodges and we stayed in the stunning one bedroom lodge Jasmine lodge. The lodge has been well designed and everything in it is of the best quality it is shear luxury with a stunning hot tub looking out over lovely countryside with lambs amusing us in the afternoons. This will not be our last visit here it was a lovely relaxing weekend and Lindsey and Shaun who we met while checking in were easy going and polite and am sure if needed would be on hand for anything we needed

Fabulous lodges in a superb location. We had the warmest of welcomes from the friendly team. Lodges are beautiful, well-appointed, spotlessly clean with extra little touches. Stunning views from the hot tub. In a lovely tranquil setting but near to many lovely pubs and places to eat. Ideal location to explore all this amazing area has to offer. We will certainly be booking here again! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

To say it’s been fantastic is an understatement and the personal touches with the provision of flowers, the rose petals and the small things, that go a very long way, have really helped give my partner a lovely time away for her 21st so thank you. The place is lovely, set away in a quiet part of the English countryside with rolling hills and mountains wherever you look. There is no noise whatsoever so perfect to really sink into your surroundings and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
The lodge is clean, spacious and has every amenity required to make it a home from home with the addition of the hot tub and starlit roof to add to the experience.

This is a truly magical and wonderful place to stay and I have enjoyed every moment there.

By far this has been the best lodge that I have ever stayed in! Such a warm welcome when we arrived. The lodge its self is so luxurious. They have thought of every minor detail for when you stay. From the utensils in the kitchen to the cleaning products and tea coffee and sugar they supply. The washing machine is great if you need it (they even supply some washing powder). The soap is amazing and I will be looking to see if I can purchase these for my house! It is very well planned out, we stayed in the Rue lodge which was great when you got out the hot tub as you could go straight into the en-suite to get washed off.||My only advice would be if you are a light sleeper and sleeping in the rue lodge don’t sleep in the master suite as you can hear the boiler, it is not very loud but as a light sleeper I found it hard to get to sleep. Also any devices that you take do not work on the WiFi we took the Amazon Alexa and the Nintendo switch but we had to run these on our data as it didn’t work. ||It was honestly the best weekend ever and the staff and the lodge was amazing. Waking up every morning to glorious views whilst eating our breakfast was phenomenal. Thank you again!

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the Jasmine and WOW 🤩.
The lodge itself was beautifully presented, had great space and all you could need. The bathroom is so luxurious loved the shower gel and body cream ….i am now trying to buy online 😂.
Location is great and the taxi services were also amazing. We ate at Mitton Hall and the Higher Buck in Waddington and can highly recommend (we did not fancy cooking but the lodge comes with everything you need if you do want to cook).
Hot tub was fab and so easy to use.
We will definitely return and hope to see the farmers cat 🐈 next time 😂.
Hosts were great especially when we thought we lost the key but turned out we didn’t check our pockets properly 🙈.

This was our first time staying at Bowland Retreat (Orchid) and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend. The lodge was impeccably presented and very luxurious. Hot tub fantastic - unbelievably spotless and obviously well maintained. Great area to explore or just chill out. Special mention to all of the team we met - very friendly and happy to chat which was great. Highly recommended.

Arrived 28/10/24 for a weeks stay and after a perfect check in experience made our way to the Perry lodge to unpack. ||We were instantly impressed with the decor of the lodge, it truly is luxury accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen complete with induction hob, microwave and built in oven all complementing the stylish units. ||The bedroom was spacious with a really comfortable bed and sliding doors allowing a fantastic view of the countryside.||Adjacent to the bedroom is the bathroom which has a large stylish bath and open shower. The bath has switchable LED uplights and the mirror has LED surround lighting which is a really nice touch. ||Then there’s the hot tub….kept at a perfect temperature with simple controls for lighting and jets, it wasn’t long before we were enjoying some fizzy drinks enjoying the peace and quiet with added twinkling lights installed in the ceiling of the covered hot tub area. ||The morning revealed the countryside in all its glory. There’s plenty of glass in the walls facing the hills and fields, both the living area and bedroom have sliding doors, and if you like to spend time watching wildlife then you won’t go far wrong here. Ducks, pheasants, hares and of course sheep adorn the landscape. ||There is plenty to keep you occupied in the surrounding area, walks, pubs, restaurants, but if you just want to relax then the lodge is perfectly suited with a large TV in the living area and comfortable seating with a large chair and couch complete with throw/blanket.||Bowland retreat lodges is a fantastic place to stay, family run, it’s clear to see the owners and staff want you to have a perfect time whilst there. And we certainly did !
