Our second time of staying at the Bowtree and this time was just as good as the last. Claire is so helpful and hospitable. The room was lovely and clean with an enormous bed, an en-suite and it had a great view over the gardens. Breakfast is very good with a cooked option if required. Highly recommended. We hope to stay again next time we’re in Grantham. Thank you for a great stay Claire and John.

My experience at the Bowtree Bed and Breakfast was outstanding. I had a comfortable, clean room with an ensuite during my stay as I was in Grantham visiting family. The breakfast was just right for me and the home made banana bread that was made by Clare, the host, was delicious. There was nothing that was too much trouble for Clare, and she was warm and friendly. The prices were very good value and this reflected the experience. Room was comfortable and Claire was very welcoming. Help yourself breakfast was fine and we could use plates etc for evening snacks. Easily walkable into Grantham, lots of places within 30-40 minutes drive.

Would throughly recommend. Had a lovely stay and room was comfy, bathroom clean and big; felt safe and most of all Claire was so welcoming and made me feel just at home!

I had a lovely stay for 2 nights at Bowtree. Claire and John had thought of everything in equipping their B&B. I had the blue ensuite room which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The superking bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet even at the front of the house. Breakfast was continental with masses of choice. A cooked breakfast is available at an extra cost. The nicely decorated dining room also had a microwave and fridge. If you had brought food with you or picked up a takeaway this was so useful. Cutlery and plates etc. were all there to use. I would certainly stay again. Thank you Claire for you welcome and brilliant hosting.

We had 2 lovely nights at Bowtree the room was very comfortable and clean the breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble for Claire and John. We would certainly stay again if we were lucky enough to visit the UK again.

We stayed with Claire and John for one night to break our journey home from a holiday in North Yorkshire. Bowtree House is a delightful b & b. Our bedroom and en-suite shower room was beautifully decorated and furnished. It was all superbly clean and had the benefit of tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a good TV. Claire & John were very welcoming when we arrived, and we very soon settled in to a very comfortable evening. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with plenty of choices of cereals, fruit, pastries, yoghurts, juices, teas and coffee. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bowtree House to anyone. It is so very conveniently located to use as a base to explore Grantham town and there are also lots of other local attractions within very easy reach. All in all, a lovely b & b run by a very welcoming couple in Claire and John. Thank you.

Nicely decorated room with an new en-suite. Poly cotton itchy bedding with a hot duvet, towels as hard as boards. Breakfast if you like it is high carbs, nothing fresh other than milk and yogurt, sugary cereals white processed breads. Not our sort of food, we asked for a cooked breakfast but that is an additional £18 for two.
