A sunny spring day and a delicious stack of pancakes. Served by a friendly waitress who was happy to help. There’s not much more to say, very reasonably priced and I’d highly recommend.
I would suggest booking as their seating is limited, however we managed to slip in without a booking and got lucky.

Had a really lovely experience at Bread and Butter! The atmosphere was great, with nice outdoor seating that made it a perfect spot to relax. The staff were super friendly and provided quick, efficient service. I ordered the ham and cheese toastie and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crisp. Definitely a great little spot, I’ll be back for sure!

Some of the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten! Tried the frittata and smokey beans which was also delicious. Freshly squeezed orange juice also very nice. A good range of options for little ones. They were very accommodating to us with our toddler and staff were kind and courteous. Highly recommend. We will be back soon!

Came down from London for a Cornish weekend getaway and couldn’t have been happier with this cafe. Absolutely delicious pastries - the apple pork sausage was a melt-in-the-mouth. So filling and perfectly priced. Coffee was great. If you want to sit down on a weekend recommend booking as there’s not too much seating.

The best pancakes in Cornwall! This is my new favourite place for breakfast 😍 I had the 3 stack pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup and the yellow smoothie (pineapple, papaya and mango 🤤). My boyfriend had the 4 stack pancakes with apple & cinnamon compote, honeycomb crunch and caramel sauce and a hot chocolate!

Not a cheap place, but my word the food quality is good. Service excellent and friendly too. Menu all marked out with allergy information so no problem ordering for a severe allergy (tell your server anyway, it's good practise)

I come here maybe three or four times a year as I don't live near Truro, but this place makes the most beautiful pancakes, and they truly are a filling treat. The staff are so friendly and helpful with dietary requirements and the seating area is lovely.
There are seating areas indoors and outdoors, open (as far as I know) all year round, so if you book a table outside in the cooler/cold months, wrap up warm.
Highly recommended that you book a table in advance, so as not to face disappointment if you just roll up and hope for the best in getting a table, as it is a very popular café in Truro! Don't believe me? Check the line outside the café before they open in the mornings!
Highly recommend visiting here for a fantastic food experience.
