My group and I had an amazing experience in Bread! We were a group of 12+ people, the owner was extremely friendly and warm! And so the baristas, who prepared our beverages and lunch with a lot of love 💕 The tea is amazing! I also bought a coloring book for my sister, this place has everything!

Delicious toasties and warm welcoming atmosphere. Great place for lunch. Made to feel so welcome by the staff, they offered to pray for us which was lovely. And the sofas were super comfy. Great spot to unwind, grab lunch and feel at home.

Firstly Bread is an unusual cafe, it is a Christian run cafe and very religious inside. Although not religious myself this did not impact me. The cafe also caters for children like a playgroup so could be very disruptive. For example a 2-3 year old playing a tambourine was quite annoying for us 3 adults.

However the two biggest issues were the service and the customer/staff.

The cafe was relatively empty however it took 45 mins to serve us 3 toasters. I also really disliked the fact that one group of customers seemed to be able to go behind the counter to the food and drink prep area and prepare themselves things. Have you not heard of food hygiene standards?

If I had of observed this before our order was placed I would have left.

Bread is a very special place, lovely staff, always positive always happy to chat. Great service, lots of space, but above all a genuinely happy atmosphere. Yes it’s a Christian cafe, but that’s what makes it so special, the people are genuinely nice.

And in today’s world if someone is kind enough to sit with you, speak with you and even pray for you (p.s. that’s no forced on you at all) then I’d say we all need that right now.

If you want a quiet and friendly drink, read a book or even do some work, there isn’t anywhere else I’d recommend in town.

Had a nice salad with green leaf, feta, lentils and hummus, with sourdough bread on the side. The colourful coffee mugs had great inspirational statements inside! There’s a play area for children in one corner.

Brilliant cafe with a really cool hand drawn theme and warm, friendly service. A little hub of God's love in the centre of Yeovil!

A lovely place to spend a quiet half hour - great food! I really enjoyed my americano and brie & cranberry on sourdough.
