Had a fabulous stay (for the second time) at this lovely bed and breakfast. Corinne is a wonderful hostess and breakfast is an absolute joy. Home made yoghurt, croissants and sour dough breads along with a perfectly prepared full English of your choice set us up for the day. Location is perfect if you want to explore the beautiful Kent countryside and (in our case) visit some of the historical country houses including Scotney, Batemans, Sissinghurst, Great Dixter. The coast is also within easy reach so that Rye and coastal walks from Fairlight to Hastings are about 40 minutes drive away. The house (Bressenden) is beautifully furnished and has a very relaxed, peaceful and authentic feel. In addition to a lovely bedroom, you also get access to the visitorโ€™s kitchen which is great if you want to self cater and eat in the beautiful garden in spring and summer. Really excellent value for money. We will be looking forward to our next visit and wouldnโ€™t consider staying anywhere else in this area. Thank you Corinne.

We chose Bressenden as a base for a short break to this lovely part of Kent. It's very central for a number of attractions and beautiful villages. The house is very unusual and set in extensive, secluded gardens. Pictures really don't do it justice. Corinne, the owner, is very helpful and considerate treating her guests as guests, not just paying customers. Our room (Blue) was comfortable and spacious with a fantastic separate, private bathroom. The shower is huge and very powerful, very satisfactory indeed. Breakfast was very good with home produced bread, eggs and jams. Plenty of options and always hot and tasty. There is a guest kitchen if required which is fully equiped. We imagine the garden will be glorious in Spring and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

Bressenden has only recently opened its doors as a B&B, hence the lack of reviews. The beautiful house is tastefully furnished with interesting period furniture. We had the 'East Wing' - a lovely large room with double and single beds and an impressive separate bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade bread, yoghurt and jams, fresh fruit and a lovely cooked English breakfast. We went for a walk in the beautiful gardens before breakfast one morning and came across a wild deer from the adjacent woods calmly munching on the lawn. ||||Beautiful house, great rooms, welcoming host, excellent breakfast and great location for exploring the heart of Kent. I am sure there will be many more 5-star reviews to come.

Myself and my girlfriend booked a stay at Bressenden for a spontaneous trip over the bank holiday weekend. We found the house to be spacious, well kept and welcoming. The owner was lovely and very accommodating for all of our needs. Being big nature buffs we were thrilled that the garden was huge, with deer and rabbits often seen roaming the grounds.|All basic needs were considered, with our comfortable room having a kettle, tv and a private bathroom next door. Breakfast was delicious and was served at 8:30 each morning with a nice variety of choices.|There are villages and restaurants nearby all in driving distance and we were invited to use the kitchen should we want to make our own food.|I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet peaceful escape from the modern busy world. I left here feeling refreshed and recharged with a definite intention to return when I am next in the area.

An extraordinary house in a beautiful setting. This gem of the Arts and Crafts movement is meticulously furnished and tastefully decorated and is a feast for the eyes. The well maintained garden has been expertly landscaped; it was a joy to explore and to unravel its secrets e.g. dragonflies, owls, bats, rabbits and the ever present possibility of a visit from the wild deer that inhabit the surrounding woods. I even tasted a freshly picked fig, warm from the sun - delicious!||||The rooms are light and airy and well appointed, every care had been taken to ensure that all our needs were met; the comfort of its guests is of paramount importance to this establishment.||||The location is central and ideal for seeing the best Kent has to offer, especially, if like us, you are on a garden tour. There is an excellent choice of good places to eat within a 3 mile radius not to mention two very good vineyards.||||Now, to the breakfast, this is an experience to be savoured. The dining room is stunning and the table lavish, from hand embroidered napkins to delicious home made yogurt and sourdough bread. The full English was cooked with care and included home grown tomatoes, free range eggs (from their own hens) local sausages and bacon - scrumptious.||||Finally, to our hosts (the two legged and four legged variety) friendly, cultured, engaging, accommodating and helpful - unforgettable just like our stay. For the first time ever I was genuinely sad to leave. Hopefully, we will be able to return next year, preferably in May when the garden will be at its peak.

I have left it far too long to write a review of this lovely spot in the Kent countryside.Bressenden is a lovely arts and crafts property. You can tell there was a lot of love and care in this house in the past.Corinne thought of everything and this shone through. Her breakfast was beautifully cooked and there were many alternatives to the traditional breakfast.I loved the fact she baked her own sourdough bread which is delicious. Our room and our private bathroom were cosy and the bed was enormous in the Rose Room. The property was in close proximity to Sissinghurst. There are also good pubs nearby for eating out.Corinne has two cats so if you are allergic you might want to think again, but as a seasoned cat lover this was the icing on the cake.I would love to have a reason to revisit Bressenden
