I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bridge House Cafe in Chatteris, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff instantly made me feel welcomed, but it was the food that truly stole the show.

The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, but the highlight for me was definitely the kebabs. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, it's clear that they specialize in this area. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste that left me wanting more. The portions are generous, and when you consider the quality of the ingredients and the skill showcased in each dish, the prices are absolutely worth it.

Vegetarian options available. Tasty pizza. Self service . Waiting time around 20 mins. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. The heating was off and there was no hot water in the washroom, hope it gets fixed soon. Rest everything was great. There are sit in dining charges as well. Overall would recommend it.

Placed an order online and waited over an hour with no sign so rang up to be told it hadn’t even been started yet with no apology. Food arrived 20 minutes after phone call with no apology or anything by delivery driver. I’d kind of understand if it was a busy night of the week but it was placed at 4pm on a Monday. The order was a large chicken kebab (£12.50) which was mainly made up of just lettuce and tomato with a tiny bit of chicken and a potion of wedges (£5). Used to love this place but it has really gone down hill. Gutted.

I never write a bad review, but today I received a bad delivery and I am very angry.
I ordered for almost £30, including delivery and tips.
The delivery should have come within 1 hour max. But it took more than an hour and a half for the home delivery,about 2 hours. Called them 2 times. 1st time when an hour had passed, he said he was on his way and hung up the phone call, the second time when an hour and a half had passed and then he said he was on his way and hung up again. The service is rude and the food arrived already cold. I ordered from here for the second time, but it will definitely be the last after such service...
If I had known that I would have to wait so long, then I would have ordered better from the place where I always order, and it arrived in max 45 minutes, was never late and delivered even faster

We were the only people waiting to be served takeaway. The woman who was waiting on the tables said to us you can wait if you want but it will be a long wait. We walked out.
God help them if they get busy.

We have ordering from Bridge House for years and their food has gradually gone downhill. Ordered a couple of meals to be delivered via the app. Approximately 60 minute wait. After well over an hour of waiting, I decided to call them. Not only were they rude, but talked over me when I tried to speak. In the end, I hung up as I wasn’t getting anywhere. Was told they have no influence over the app(?) and as regular customers we should understand that we would have to wait. When the food eventually arrived, it was vile. I have never seen so much cheese on a pizza. I’m sure there were toppings, but they were drowned out by all the cheese. Sorry, you’ve lost our custom! This was the final straw!! Horrendous!

First time ordering from here, we live in Chatteris but had it delivered! We were really pleasantly surprised, the square pizza was really tasty, very cheesy! The chips were really good and so were the mozerella sticks! The 2 person sharing deal was just the right amount of food and good value. Food was delivered piping hot, and they even called to double check our order (as we had missed something off). Will order from here again!
