We booked this fab little place as a stop over on our way to Cornwall; normally we would stay in a hotel but we fancied a change. What a change! How this is only a 3* place befuddles me! It is better than the 5* places we stay in!

The hosts were very helpful while we booked and provided really clear directions and check in/out instructions. Location-wise it is perfect: quiet country lanes and beautiful scenery!

The attention to detail is fantastic. The bed is very comfortable, and we had a fantastic nights sleep. The bathroom is so practical and spacious enough for two of us to get ready at the same time. We like a good shower and this one ticks all of the boxes! Hot, good pressure and the shampoo smelled like After Eights! There is everything you need to have a good breakfast to set you up for the day, too.

The sheep theme is clear, but not gaudy or in your face, and everything about this little B&B is well thought through. I think we have found a new stop-over point for our trips down South!

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights and found the hosts very pleasant and welcoming, the room was immaculate and very well furnished with everything needed for our stay.
The location is a little remote, however, this allowed for total peace and quiet during the day and night and wonderful sunsets.
I would highly recommend this property to other guests who are looking for a peaceful retreat or for superb accommodation within easy reach of cities and visitor attractions.”

Stayed here for one night prior to flying from Bristol Airport. Excellent, clean, bright accommodation. Ample parking. Very comfortable. Large spacious bathroom and shower with underfloor heating. Comfortable bed. Excellent, very filling breakfast, too much really for us to eat. The old lambing shed is highly recommended for anyone flying from Bristol Airport or anyone who would enjoy a few days break in the country. Chew Kitchen restaurant close by is worth a visit.

We stayed here for two nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. They have two rooms and we booked them both. ||They have designed the rooms with a great deal of flair and impeccable taste. The attention to detail is outstanding and they really have thought of everything. ||Check-in details thorough and efficient. A thoughtful and personalised message on each of the black boards. Mini fridge containing fresh milk, orange juice, butter, jam and yoghurt. Enough space for our wine to chill too! ||Bread, cereals, pain au chocolat, tea, coffee and hot chocolate also provided for the self service breakfast. ||Large comfortable bed with quality linen. Huge fluffy towels supplied. Premium toiletries in the modern shower room and ample hot water. ||A vegan family member was disappointed not to be accommodated but this didn’t spoil the stay. ||We loved the calf and lamb themes on everything from mugs and plates to lampshades. So cute! ||A lovely place to stay if you’re in this area.

George and Meg really have a beautiful place out here. We arrived on a Friday night straight after work as the sun was setting. Our room was the Old Calf Pen, this is the room with the stunning view of the garden and overlooks miles of hills. You can watch the sun set at your door and it is really gorgeous. To get into your room, you are given a code in your welcome email which ia used for the lock box, so no waiting around for staff, you just let yourself in like it's your own home! This was really simple to use, and after a long week at work, thats just what we needed.||||You're met with a warm cosy room, set up with everything you may need. Kettle, toaster, cutlery, mugs, tumblers and wine glasses; cornflakes, granola, mueseli, 2 pieces of both white and granary and 2 pain au chocolats! On top of our mugs were 2 celebration chocolates, we also had supplies of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and 2 packets of Border biscuits, all replaced each day. ||||In the fridge there were cubes of butter, jam, marmalade, fresh milk, cold water and 2 bottles of orange (or apple) juice.||||We were also given a bottle of Prosecco (not sure if thats normal or if thats for our anniversary!) And a cute little bowl with boiled fruity sweets and tiny packets of tictacs.||||In the bathroom, there's shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.||||So now you know literally everything thats supplied for you. I can talk more about the stay.||||The room is beautifully designed and immaculately clean, and make sure you check the drawer of the wardrobe to find the world's softest throw!! ||||The local area has beautiful views and a stunning lake, so if you lovely exploring the countryside then this place is a must! We also went their favourite pub, the Plough Inn (book in advance, we got lucky apparently!) What a nice pub, the food was divine!||||I won't droan on anymore, all in all it was an amazing stay, hosted by amazing people and their dog Lily! (My best bud by the end of our stay) I would thoroughly recommend to anyone!

Absolutely fantastic, it's situated on a working farm, but you don't hear anything, the scenery is amazing and breathtaking, the converted barn is on par with a 5 star hotel. It is a spacious barn with a modern bathroom with a walk in shower, and you have a wonderful sleeping area the king-size bed is really comfortable, a country farm kitchen very modern with a fridge freezer. A little mobile hob, so you can cook. They will clean and replace your towels as often as you like. It is pristine, I'm OCD and extremely content with the service they provided. I suggest that if you want to have a vacation there, phone them direct they are very accommodating and will talk through the covid situation.
I will point out that you will drive down country lanes to get there, and they are not busy lanes very quiet, but very picturesque. It's worth the drive to sleep in peace and quiet and not being over looked and breathe in the fresh air.

Quiet, cozy and welcoming, the owners are above and beyond helpful and so lovely!
The barn has a beautiful view over the hills and the farms own cows and is close to so many things to do although we cancelled most of our plans and just stayed in the barn because we loved it!

Thankyou Meg, George, Maggie & Tilly
