On arrival, I was concerned by the bleak, unkempt look of the place, but this was nothing compared to inside, as I entered the reception doors a security guard asked me what I wanted, I told him I had a room booked and he pointed me towards reception, I waited there but no one cane another security guard came a ran a bell, an older man came out and after a few minutes said I had not paid for the booking, a third security guard was telling a young man to get out of the reception area, as he was eating, there were young men walking and sitting around. It smelt like yesterdays school dinners, I asked the man if it was safe to be there he shrugged and said yes, I cancelled the booking and left immediately

Its horrendous.||I have stayed at well over 2000 hotels.||This is one of the worst.||Rooms were quite poor.||Breakfast was a joke. served in a plastic container and very poor quality||Many asylum seekers in the hotel ( 95%) creating noise during the evening.||The receptionist was dressed like a street person and not sure what he was saying when we checked in.||A very strange smell throughout the hotel.

DO NOT STAY. This is an awful Hotel. I paid £115 for a grotty, run down room. The whole place smells. I asked my booking agent for a refund but they couldn’t promise me one until they spoke to the Hotel the next morning, leaving me no option but to stay. The staff are very rude and proceeded to insult me because I wasn’t happy. The room walls are covered in stains, bathroom looks dirty, the whole place makes your skin crawl.

I’ll be honest when we arrived, it really didn’t look great from the outside. Once we got into the reception it was ok; simple, clean and although a little rough around the edges, it was nice enough. ||The room was clean and basic, but nice enough. The bed was comfortable enough too. The room didn’t get made up each day, but that didn’t bother me too much. The shower was decent and the room fairly spacious.||In summary, it was cheaper than all the other hotels in the area, and you can see why in some ways, but you get what you pay for and I think it was excellent value for money.

As you can see from my account I very rarely ever write a review but I have honestly never seen a place like this. |Upon driving into the car park I thought I had arrived in Chernobyl, the 'hotel' and grounds look like a derelict block of flats from the NYC projects, nothing like the images online. I entered the building and was greeted by a security guard in full hi-vis puffing his chest out, went to the reception desk and I have to say the reception staff were really nice but that really is all that is nice about this place. |The lobby was like a homeless shelter, I have the impression that this 'hotel' is used by the council to house people that have fallen on hard times.|So up the stairs I go (imagine the urine smelling stairwells of inner city car parks and you've got the idea) I was greeted by a lovely pigeon roaming the corridor outside of my room, why I didn't just turn around then and there I will never know. I did let the reception staff know about this and they told me that they have been struggling to eject said pigeon for a few days but considering yesterday it was on floor 6 and it had made its way down to floor 5 seemed to be music to the managers ears, I reckon a few more days and it will have made it down to the lobby to sit on the floor like the rest of the 'long-term guests' that seem to congregate there.|The rooms are the absolute worst I have ever seen, no lock on the door, just a door chain so anybody walking past could open the door a few inches and peer in, the bathroom was filthy.|I booked this through booking.com and have sent them an email as I am absolutely shocked that they promote this place. I'm now settled into my Days Inn room for the night and feel like I'm in a palace.

Does not look so white in reality, the hotel seems a bit tired in the communal areas and was very quiet. Breakfast looked like it came in boxes but I might be wrong, we ate elsewhere.

On the positive side that meant we slept well!! Comfortable beds and clean rooms with recently refurbished bathrooms. Bedroom had a double and a single in it so for £62.00 if 3 people staying its good value. But with no usb ports, remember to bring your chargers.

Staff are lovely especially the manager and the barman josh couldn't do enough for us. But don't expect a buffet breakfast as they don't do one as it home's asliam people . But room's are clean so that's all you need really. Bar drinks are cheaper than the pub so all in all not that bad.

Although the hotel is a bit dated. It is absolutely clean and spotless. The staff are all fantastic. They will go the extra mill for you, They cannot do enough for you. We are absolutely fine staying there for work purposes Monday to Friday.
