Very good stay with good boutique room in friendly pub environment with notable cafe area for breakfast. Staff were welcoming and helpful on all occasions. Location central and convenient for exploring Bath on foot. This location is obviously not the most quiet but only a quibble!

Great boutique guesthouse in bath! Located right in the middle of bath and attached to a nice pub where you get a free welcome drink. Breakfast I'm the room next door was also very nice with good coffee

Overall, a great stay at a beautiful hotel with tonnes of character

A gorgeous unique hotel with tonnes of character, in a great location. We absolutely loved the decor in the room, and it was larger than we expected. Staff were really lovely and helpful, and breakfast was great. We were also offered a complimentary drink from the pub next door. A good shower,
and luxury toiletries were appreciated. The music playing on the vintage style radio in the room was a nice touch when we first got to our room.

We emailed ahead of time to make sure it was OK to leave our bags with the hotel until check in, and when we arrived later in the day to check in, bags had been placed in our room. We also left bags with them whilst we were out and about after checkout which was really helpful.

Tip- check in, drop off or collect bags at either the cafe or the pub to either side, you'll also get a key to the hotel door from here.

Our only suggestion would be for the music to be played a little louder in the cafe at breakfast- it was really quiet when we stayed and found ourselves almost whispering at breakfast.

We stayed here for one night the beginning of December. Upon arrival the welcome by Chris was good and informative. |The room, pricey at £440 for one night was nice, but it did feel unjustified for the price. The welcome drink in the mini bar and the complimentary cocktail made by Chris was a nice touch. We ended up having a couple of cocktails in the bar and it was a very nice experience. Chris was efficient, friendly and made the start to our evening a good one. What let's the place down was the terrible breakfast service in the morning. We came down and were| barely greeted by the 2 young staff members. We ordered our drinks and food however the wait for 2 coffees and 2 orange juices was a long time. The girls running the breakfast service had no efficiency or initiative, it was painful to watch. The other customers around us were also looking annoyed. In summary, good location, rooms on the higher side of average, Chris was excellent,however the whole breakfast experience let it down.

Had a lovely stay for a few nights to do some Xmas shopping. Room was at the top which was hard going up and down the stairs especially after a full shopping day. Room was nice and cosy and warm with nice touches . Kettle tea & coffee water . Bathroom nice and spacious with shampoo and body wash and hand cream. Breakfast was really nice too could be a bit slow when lots of people where sitting at once but nice and relaxed. But really enjoyed are stay and would defo be back.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay. The room was small but ideal for our needs. Breakfast was varied and excellent quality. The staff were all very friendly. An ideal location for exploring Bath. There is a quirky cafe that becomes the breakfast room in the morning and also a lovely pub attached to the accommodation. My wife and I would stay again. However, check room availability if you find stairs a challenge.

We were here for just one night and it was the perfect location. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was the best. It is a lovely old building and the decor is really nicely done.|I thought parking would be an issue but we parked at the Podium and the walk is very short.

What a truly wonderful experience. Polite, knowledgeable and attentive staff. The venue was light, airy and had a lovely family ambience about it. The food was of an excellent standard. Worth every penny. Will definitely book again when visiting Bath in the near future.
