We - a Danish couple in our sixties - had a two nights stay, and we would like to give our warmest recommandations to David and his B&B. Everything was excellent, no less! (welcoming, hospitality, rooms, bathroom, cleaning, breakfast). The B&B is located in a quiet neighbourhood in walking distance from the town center with several restaurants and shops. Perfect base for excursions to the many gardens, castles and manor houses in the area.

A friend and I enjoyed a two-night stay at Broadwater B&B while exploring the local area. Conveniently located on the edge of Tunbridge Wells, this is a comfortable, clean and welcoming place to stay that I would recommend. Extremely peaceful location in a residential area, we stayed in a twin room which was spacious, nicely decorated, with a large en-suite (wonderful shower) and comfy beds. David is a welcoming and generous host, allowing us an early check-in and the use of his beautiful garden to relax with a drink in the evenings. The room had all you would normally expect, as well as some additional touches, including a well-stocked tea station, mini-fridge and toiletries. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.|I would definitely return if in the area again.|Thank you David for your hospitality.

Before returning to the US from a trip to see family in Wales, my husband and I wanted to stay in Royal Tunbridge Wells as a base to visit Sissinghurst Gardens and Castle, and to explore some of the beautiful villages in this part of Kent. We love the unique charm of British B&Bs and we could not have found a more charming one than Broadwater.|The location is perfect, a quiet residential neighborhood with easy walking access to shops, restaurants and Sainsburys grocery store. We enjoyed looking at the neighborhood gardens with flowers and shrubs in full bloom when we walked to dinner.|The room was spotlessly clean and the bed linens were crisp and high quality.|A full, cooked English breakfast is something else we look forward to when traveling in the UK and David’s breakfast did not disappoint!|I highly recommend Broadwater if you are traveling in the area, David is a wonderful, accommodating host and will do everything to make your stay comfortable.

We stayed for 2 nights in David’s beautiful home as we were attending the nearby Black Deer Festival. Our room was spotlessly clean, light, airy and spacious with a luxury en-suite. David was the most delightful host and allowed us to sit in his stunning garden and park on the drive. Delicious breakfast. And a short stroll down the hill to the Pantiles and beautiful old high street. Faultless.

We have just returned from this little gem of a b & b in Royal Tunbridge Wells. We stayed for 2 nights in David’s beautiful home and were made to feel most welcome, excellent host, excellent breakfast, and excellent location. We had the king size double at the front with large en-suite and it was perfect. Parking on David’s Drive was an added bonus as we had two cars. If your thinking of a stay in Tunbridge Wells this is definitely one to consider.

Have stayed here several times over the last few years visiting family in the area and can confirm this is a perfect location with lovely bedrooms (And very nice bathrooms with American style 'power' showers that were much appreciated!),and just a short walk (10 / 15 minutes) to the local supermarket Sainsburys and the Pantiles and the local High street which has a great selection of restaurants and pubs for all tastes and budgets. (Also can recommend the breakfasts, where David caters to any tastes, from a full English fry up, to muesli and toast and marmite for those of us with healthier diets... 🙂 )

I stayed here whilst away on business and really enjoyed my stay. David is incredibly welcoming and hospitable and was really helpful in recommending places to eat / things to do. The rooms are very well presented and extremely comfortable. The B&B is also in a great location; only a short walk to The Pantiles. I’ve already booked my next stay!

Very hospitable B&B in a 1970s detached private house on an estate on the fringe of Tunbridge Wells town centre. David the proprietor very welcoming and allows you to park on his drive, if he's not around when you arrive he will make arrangements for you to leave your luggage etc. Excellent cooked breakfast with high quality ingredients at a shared table. Our bedroom at the front of the house was spotless, with a small well-maintained en-suite. Copious supplies of tea, coffee and fresh milk, the only downside being that the brew station and kettle, with mini fridge is not actually in the room, but on the landing at the other side of the split staircase. Beautiful and neat gardens. 5 minute walk to Sainsbury's, Spa Valley Railway, Pantiles, 10 minute walk to High St and main-line station. Payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer only - no cards. Highly recommended.
