The New Years Eve night in Brockley was fantastic. The hotel is stunning and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The twin room we stayed in was great, but the 7 course meal for the night was brilliant. The band was super and got everybody regardless of age dancing (Beer Pigs). The breakfast was also top class, cannot wait for 31st December 2025 to do it all again. Will definitely use the hotel more often even just as a restaurant. An absolutely fabulous place well worth a visit..

Lovely hotel, decor is amazing, beautiful quirky ornaments and accessories. Breakfast was good, had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant . The downside to the food was the gluten free option of bread was absolutely appalling, but when advised of this in the restaurant they were happy to swap for gluten free crackers and asked if a nicer bread was available. (There are so many options nowadays and would be good if they can try some to see the difference) The only other downside was the first night we were in a room that had been painted and still a strong smell of paint, in hindsight they perhaps shouldn’t of let the room until the smell had gone but when we asked to move rooms they were accommodating, it was a nice enough room but near the car park so noisy.

Came for a weekend break despite the weather being atrocious the hotel was great first through the door greeted by a huge bear with a Santa hat on ! |Loved the decor it’s flamboyantly decadent everywhere in the communal areas bar , lounge , dining rooms loved the bizarre style and opulent surroundings |Our room was large with a slipper bath in the bedroom and en-suite shower room apart from the bed the room was missing the style from downstairs which could easily be fixed with some curtains swags and tails etc something to give it a wow painted furniture was a tad drab and the sofa not needed the en-suite although super clean it was just very dull painted in magnolia silk paint of all things a massive let down ( room 25)|We ate both nights in the restaurant Friday night was romance night but we weren’t into the menu so picked off the other one starters were lovely mains were disappointing I had mushroom risotto was hard to find any mushrooms in it and it was bland my fiancé had the Barnsley chop which was hugely disappointing it’s the tiniest chop I’ve ever seen and was nearly all bone and fat and the dauphinoise potatoes were horrid just overpowered by a raw garlic taste and the potatoes were undercooked |Breakfast next morning in the conservatory chose full English was nice but the sausage casing was so tough neither of us could eat them , black pudding was great though ! |Saturday we went out for the day on return there was a power cut due to the weather but the bar was open lit by candles which was lovely so late to dinner but that’s no one’s fault obviously, we had the 7 course taster menu mostly lovely apart from the lobster and salmon ravioli the pasta was too thick and the little piece of lobster was chewy and overcooked , the queenie scallops on the next course were super tiny and a bit of a pointless course we felt , highlights the leak and potato| soup was delicious and the pepper crust steak was fab , pre dessert was lovely but the soufflé as the last course was awful we left ours |Overall food wise it wasn’t as good as we were expecting and a bit of a let down to be honest .|Positive notes the staff are superb ,friendly people everyone and the lady on reception was particularly lovely and helpful |We never got our complimentary box of macarons on check out but probably just an oversight |Would we return ? Possibly yes but to a different room and just stay one night as it is expensive at £600 for a 2 night stay

Brockley Hall was an unexpected joy. We changed our original travel plans from a well known local spa hotel to Brockley Hall as it seemed so much better value for money. We didn’t know what to expect but were blown away by the staff, the decor and the food! We were lucky enough to get a complimentary room upgrade which was amazing - the room was so special yet homely all at once. Our three course dinner was great, so much choice and no supplementary charges and breakfast the following morning was the perfect end to our stay. We will 100% be returning to Brockley Hall - I don’t know if I have ever felt so well rested after 1 night away somewhere. Can’t recommend enough✨

We stayed at Brockley Hall when we were staying in the area for a wedding. We booked the Friday night is for romance package deal, and paid to make sure we had a bath.||Our room was stunning, and so spacious, with both a bath and a fancy shower (that to be honest, we struggled to use!) And a very large, very comfortable bed.||Along with our package we received a 3 course dinner in the restaurant, and breakfast the morning after- both of which were delicious and faultless!||We also received prosecco and chocolates on check in and macarons on check out, which were all divine!||This hotel is unique and individual and has a great personality. We would absolutely return if we are in the area again!

Great night for work. Room 7 is a little small and dark, but tidy. Quite dated, but quiet and clean. Dinner was really good. Haddock and triple cooked thick homemade chips were to die for.
