Hotel was absolutely lovely, it's hard to imagine when you see the outside as you may thing it's a bit old but as soon as you enter all that is put to rest.

Reception was lovely and very accommodating, pool was heated and seemed very clean.

Food was amazing as well and couldn't complain at the price for the breakfast buffet

Fabulous staff. Lovely clean, quite room. Well decorated and big. Breakfast was hot with plenty of choice. After staying at a Britannia hotel in Blackpool we were a little nervous about our stay ( terrible experience) but could not fault this hotel. Wonderful stay

Firstly, we had to change rooms as soon as we got there, because the tv wasn’t working and there was no maintenance on site. The second room there was an awful smell I thought it was because the window needed to open to let fresh air in. We found out it was the carpet had a bad smell,and the smell wouldn’t go away. We even had leave the window open all night because of the awful smell. |Next I discovered we were only given one pillow and when I lifted the pillow you could see the amount of dust in between the mattress and the bedframe. I could not see why this has never been checked and why put white clean sheets on such a dirty bed frame. |Obviously the maids are lazy and housekeeping isn’t up to scratch. So at night we had to breath in the disgusting dust. |The bathroom was like a 3 star hotel very average. The bathroom was so narrow you could t close the door. The shower curtain had a dirty black mark. The shower it self was poor, with hardly any good spray of water. I wouldn’t call that a 4star hotel either. And the white towels had black marks stain. |Next we had no room service, we came back and found no maid came to clean our room. We had dirty cups, and the bins needed cleaning. Very poor service. |Last, if you have any food allergies like myself I.m a coeliac, I doubled checked with the hotel staff about eating there nd they could reinsure me that they will be careful in the kitchen. Well I got glutened, and become very unwell. |I wouldn’t stay again in any Britannia hotel. No wonder it was cheaper than a premier inn. I couldn’t enjoy my stay the hotel was disgustingly, as seen by my review.

The staff are very friendly and helpful they didn't just direct you, they took us to room and they helped with luggage too . we used the spa for £4 a person. Very clean, spin dryer for swim suit, hair dryers. food, room and service was great. Some of the areas in the bathroom need a little tlc tiles etc. but didn't affect our stay.

The lighting in the car park is almost non-existant.|New Years eve there was no hot water until after 10pm. This totally spoiled the build up as we wanted to be out earlier to enjoy the music. The water was too cold the following morning for a shower so we didn't bother. We were not offered an alternative room in order to shower or a room with heating.|The room was very cold so we ended up with 2 plug in heaters and 2 quilts. |The hotel is tired and in need of an upgrade.

Wonderful place to relax. The restaurant has great food. The room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable.

One thing booking.com could do is point out the car parking arrangement, making it clear that you don't need to download the parking app to pay £10.25 to Parkingeye and that to pay the £5 parking fee, you simply sign into the tablet in the hotel reception. It's a bit confusing, as we thought you pay the parking fee, then receive a credit once in the hotel. Not ever so clear.

I stayed at the hotel with the valentines package this weekend. Evie was absolutely fantastic and provided excellent service for the night, despite her being by herself. Emma on breakfast was also very welcoming and helpful. The lounge and bar area is decorated very nice and has a lovely atmosphere. ||It was not to the best standard, the hotel has a lack of staff on shifts which I presume is a regular occurrence as Sunday breakfast was also extremely busy and only two members of staff were on. I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for just a starter and once it arrived my prawn cocktail was frozen. I had the chicken for main and my vegetables were rock solid so overall the food wasn’t great. A man who I would presume was the manager, wasn’t all with it and didn’t really seem bothered the fact the restaurant was full and there was only one member of staff serving everyone!

Needed a meeting place at a half way location and this was ideal just off the M5.||Booked meeting room with refreshments and buffet lunch. Everything was perfect with an easy booking process so have booked again. Thank you so much to Tracy in the Events Team.
