Lovely little uncovered gem. Had a great stay in a beautiful room with lovely views. In a great location too in the heart of the South Downs with easy access to all the other parts too. Clara and her husband were really friendly and so helpful. Continental breakfast all available in the room was a lovely little idea too. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

Stayed here for 2 nights. First night on my own and my Mum joined me for the 2nd night. My friend was getting married locally so we needed a place nearby to stay. Really glad we chose Brook Barn. Beautiful clean room, amazing bathroom and idyllic setting. Really lovely continental breakfast and homely feel. Our hosts Clara and Simon were very welcoming. They even put an extra bed in our room. Fresh milk provided for tea/coffee. A shared bathroom but that was no issue. Would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone.

Warm welcome but no refreshments. Two rooms separate from main house very nice very clean and lots of little touches. The bathroom facilities were excellent we shared with friends. Breakfast was cereal toast etc. But enough to set us on our way. Clara was friendly and attentive and left us to our own devices.

We had a great stay for 2 days as family celebrating a birthday and attending nearby Upwaltham Wedding Barn for a family wedding.

The two rooms worked really well for us with a bathroom to share and a lovely breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit, cereal and pastries etc.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Brook Barn! The place is warm and full of beautiful light and gorgeous views to soak up - such a lovely, tranquil and quaint escape. Clara was super accommodating with anything we needed and even went to the trouble of arranging a vegan breakfast for me. She was also a lot of fun to chat to! Couldn’t of been happier with our stay and we’re already planning to return for a longer visit!

We stayed at Brook Barn while cycling the South Downs Way and could not have wished for better accommodation and more caring hosts. Clara was so kind as to let us use her dryer when we got soaked on the way to the pub. The room was large and welcoming and the beds comfortable, and oh. my. god, the breakfast! Honestly, I'd go back just for that!!!!! Thank you so much for having us! 🙂

Clara and Simon were very welcoming and friendly hosts, without being too ‘present’!! |The room was spacious and very comfortable overlooking a beautiful garden. Brook Barn is in such lovely surroundings, the whole area has so much to see and do if you like countryside, spotting wildlife and just walking through beautiful, peaceful places. Plenty of great pubs for fab meals. Everywhere you turn is a photograph.
