Just back from a fantastic weekend at Brookfields. This place is incredible. Beautiful kitchen with all mod cons, dining room to comfortably sit 14 adults, spacious lounge and big, light, airy double bedrooms. 5 minute walk to the pretty market town of Church Stretton and 10 minutes to the Long Mynd. Can’t wait to go again. Julie and James are terrific hosts. Highly recommend!

I have just returned from a weekend with friends . The house is absolutely lovely . The bedrooms have everything you need and beautiful views . Brilliant kitchen and facilities .We were self catering and there are plenty of pots and pans , we cooked for 12 no problem and there are 2 dishwashers so no washing up.||There’s also the added bonus of a hot tub and sauna 😃||The owners are there for anything you need and have very kindly posted back my dressing gown that I left. Church Stretton is a lovely village and I’m looking forward to staying at Brightfields house again.I would highly recommend it , thank you Julie and James 😃😃

12 of us have just spent a long weekend at Brookfields. It was wonderful, julie and James are great hosts and the house is lovely, especially when there are a few of you. This was our second stay there and wont be our last, during our stays we have had young grandchildren with us up to our 91yr old mum, 4 and 5 generations and everyone of us loves the place. Lovely little town to walk into and the kings head is second to none for welcome and food. For those more energetic the walks are fabulous. See you again soon Denise, Richard and family.

Brookfield’s is beautiful, homely, comfortable and very spacious. There were 12 of us staying at Brookfield’s and still plenty of space should u need it. Church Stretton is lovely and the people really friendly. Brookfield’s is situated in a beautiful part of the country and there is absolutely so much to see and do within the surrounding area you will love it. James and Julie the owners are not far away should u need them, which we didn’t but u do get a warm welcome when u first arrive. What more can I say but you will love Brookfield’s guesthouse. 5 stars all the way

We have just spent a long weekend at Brookfield guest house and cannot sing it's praises enough. What a beautiful place to stay, such a lovely location and probably the best hosts Julie and James, we have ever met. Cannot wait for our visit again next year. Great for family occasions and getting away with friends. Really didn't want to leave. Thank you both.

We had a very nice stay here 25th to 27th May. walking in the area. Our room was top notch. I rarely eat a fully cooked breakfast but I had the Full Monty on our first day and it was lovely. ||||I really can't find fault and can only praise Jules for her dedication to detail and solving any difficulties you may have..

We stayed here just before the Covid 19 weekend restrictions came into play. Church Stretton is a short walk away and has a good choice of restaurants/coffee shops.||The property is as described: 7 bedrooms, 5 en-suite, large dining table. Beautiful views particularly from the front rooms.||Plenty of on site parking.||Well equipped kitchen.||We were a party of 5 ladies and there was plenty of room (8 of us had booked originally).||The host lives next door and is on hand to welcome visitors.||Would recommend and we are looking to book again next year.

Hired the lot for a week in August for 13 of us.|We were a little worried it was such good value it would be grotty when we got there; we were wrong!||This was probably the cleanest self-catering property we've ever hired.|It's kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms well appointed.|The garden is lovely if a little steep in parts.||With views of the nearby hills it is nearly idilicly situated although the main road behind the trees does on occasion bring one back to reality.||Ideally situated just 6 minutes walk from the town.||The hot tub gave a little extra luxury.||So why not 5*?|In the recent heatwave most Windows were painted shut and the lovely mobility impaired downstairs facilities would have benefited from grab rail for the loo.||We'd go back if renting in the area again.
