Worst possible B&b. Got stuck outside due to their padlock code and slept in the car. Unable to reach by phone any owners and unable to get my belongings out. Do not recommend at all !!!!

Friendly, accommodating hostess, good ample breakfast, comfortable bed, very clean room, good shower (hot with adequate water pressure), excellent location close to the historic center. sights, restaurants and amenities. Would not hesitate to come back.

Great B+B, had a night planned out in Carlisle and didn't want to get the last train home so pre booked here after a family member recommended. Nice welcome, clean good sized room facing the front, just a 5 min walk from all the shops/bars etc. And what a lovely breakfast...the best scrambled eggs ever! Would definitely stay here again 🙂

Five ladies from the US found this accommodation to be ok. Parking is around the corner. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The night we were there our hostess went out late. We had requested an 8 am breakfast and so we went down with our luggage, ready to leave after our breakfast but unfortunately no hostess much less breakfast!! I think we woke her up and she hit the ground running :). We weren't too late but we did wonder for a while....but never fear the food was good just a tad late!! She was most apologetic. I feel this was not the usual service. Hopefully

Stopped here 1 night whilst walking Hadrians Wall. Confirmed our requirement for a double room on May 10th for May 18th stop. We arrived at guest house at 6 PM after having walked 20 miles to find proprieter about to give our room away - he thought we were stopping next week. He did however upgrade us to a more expensive room for no extra charge. Very nice room. However there were very noisy guests stopping with shouting and loud voices for quite a while. Breakfast good. Good location - only 10 minutes from trail.

A wonderful friendly b & b, run by Steve and Lynne, who go our of their way to welcome and look after you throughout your stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and will certainly book again when visit Carlisle

Due to Step Daughter giving birth, we needed to stay over as a last minute decision.||We seen Brooklyn house as we drove to the hospital, so called in and thankfully Steve had a room for us.||It was warm, clean and very comfortable. Great on-suite, tea and coffee, TV and no hassles. Steve was very welcoming, helpful and friendly, was a real pleasure to meet him.||Breakfast was at a time of our choice at 9pm and was brilliant. Extra's were offered (tea & toast) at no extra cost and it was delicious.||Just a 2 minute walk from the town center, everything was on hand for something to eat and drink and buy almost anything you wanted with such a wide range of shops.
