We stayed with Phil for two nights and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome and at home. We were travelling with our three (!) labradors so it was even nicer that they were as welcome as we were. Phil is delightful, and a perfect host - there was nothing which was too much trouble. The proximity to junction 12 on the M6 was an added bonus.

Broom Hall is very comfortably furnished and we slept well both nights. The use of the well kitchen was great and Phil’s selection of coffees - and coffee machines - was seriously impressive.

Broom Hall is a lovely old house set in its own grounds; it feels as if it’s deep in the countryside - super quiet and with lots of places to walk the dogs - but is in easy walking distance of Brewood with its shops, pubs and restaurants.

We had a fab time and hope to be back in the not too distant future. Thank you Phil.

We contacted Phil when we were looking for somewhere to stay while we were waiting for our visa approval to move to Spain.
We thought it would initially be for a couple of months but turned out to be 6 months in the end.
Broom Hall is absolutely stunning, in a beautiful setting & lots of lovely walks & pubs nearby.
Phil is the perfect host & was very accommodating to our situation & all his family made us feel very welcome.
Spain has been our dream for a very long time but we shed a tear to be leaving Broom Hall. We have made friends for life & will definitely stay in touch.

Phil is an exceptional host and made us feel completely at home. It was a night-before-the-wedding visit, and we were able to visit friends and family in Phil’s lovely kitchen and conservatory, and enjoy some relaxation in the hot tub. We all slept well in the spacious comfortable bedrooms, and were treated to a great breakfast spread in the morning. it was a memorable prelude to a very special day.

Wonderful area, fabulous hall.
Totally relaxed atmosphere, Phil is a great host and very welcoming.
Local amenities are easily accessible with a short walk along the canal. The village is delightful and the prices for food and drink in the local are very reasonable.
It is ideal as a ‘base’ for exploring the area (although you may not want to see anywhere else) as access to the motorway and main roads are not far away but you would never know given Broom Halls location, it is very peaceful.
I would heartily recommend visiting.

Phil made us all feel extremely welcome on our arrival to his beautiful home. We had the freedom of the house and the gardens. I enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon soaking in the hot tub in the garden setting with stunning views while I was waiting for the rest of my family to arrive. The accomodation is exceptional. Phil catered to everyone's needs at breakfast which was very substantial. I would highly recommend a visit and would happily return.
