What a fabulous stay .|I had booked a course at SAF and booked my stay at Browns B&B .Its a 25 min walk to SAF from Browns |Joan was amazing from booking to the warm welcome .|The room was comfortable and everything was so serene .|Breakfast was great and all freshly cooked by Joan .|Will definitely be back if in the area

My daughter and I have just had a magical stay at Browns B&B. From the moment we arrived Joan made us feel very welcome. The grounds were so peaceful, with the most beautiful flowers and we were greeted by ducklings.||The room had everything you could need and we would have been happy to stay longer. The attention to detail and care that Joan takes is very much appreciated, including our lovely breakfast.||What a perfect base for exploring, we will definitely return (my daughter has insisted!)

My husband and I stayed here in 2018 for our wedding anniversary at which time I was very heavily pregnant, this location proved to be just the serene comfortable getaway we needed before becoming new parents! We were greeted with a smile and lots or lovely welcoming conversation from Joan, the accomodation was 1st class, we stayed in a beautiful 4 poster bedroom, we ventured out to a recommended pub restaurant for dinner which was gorgeous and breakfast the next day was just amazing, Joan had left a personalised treat on our breakfast plates and the food was delicious and excellently presented. The surrounding area of the Welbeck Estate is wonderful. We would endorse this place to any couple looking for a top class break away. We look forward to returning. Joan you are a gem!

A lovely B&B tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful part of the country. The host was very friendly and informative. The room was clean and comfortable. The outdoor area was lovely to sit out and enjoy some peace and quiet. The breakfast was hot, tasty and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Also it is only 5 minutes drive to the Coloured cob equestrian centre/ Crags.

My wife booked me a course for my birthday at The Artisan School Of Cookery, she also sorted me out with accommodation nearby, as we live a couple of hours away.|I arrived to be greeted by Joan, who was very welcoming and friendly, after booking me in and taking my breakfast order for the following morning she took me to my accommodation for the night which was situated in the grounds.|Wow! It was stunning and very cozy as my picture shows, it had a nice little bathroom with toilet, walk in shower and sink, the room had the most beautiful four poster bed, there was coffee and tea, a bottle of water and chocolates on the side by the tv, it had everything I needed and more! |After settling in, I went out for a bite to eat at The Elm Tree (on Joan’s recommendation) which was superb! She kindly offered to ring up and book me a table but I said don’t worry I would sort it once I’d unpacked.|Joan is clearly very well loved in the area and the landlord of the pub asked if I was staying there when I mentioned that I was doing a cooking course, he said what a lovely lady she is and always rings up to book tables at the pub for guests staying with her.|After a very good nights sleep I went for breakfast, again, Joan was most hospitable, and nothing was too much trouble for her! |My Full English breakfast was very nice and you could tell it was made with local ingredients.|I then had to get moving on route to The Cooking School, Joan quickly pulled out a little map and showed me the best direction to go, I said goodbye and went on my way, everything was perfect with my short stay from beginning to the end.|If anyone is doing a cooking course I can’t recommend Brown’s enough! Joan offers a first class service that is right up there as one of the best places that I’ve ever stayed, I hope to do more courses at The Cooking School in the future and I most definitely hope to be able to book in at Brown’s again!|Thank you Joan and all the best! |

Wonderful host and glorious setting!

At short notice, we booked a stay at Brown’s B&B. The setting is idyllic and the host Joan couldn’t do enough for us to make us feel so welcome. Would recommend.

What a great warm and welcoming host Joan is. Browns is just a short walk away from the School of Artisan Food ( my reason for being there) and it couldn’t be lovelier. Quiet comfortable rooms, lovely gardens, great breakfast and chats with Joan. What’s not to love about that! I’ll stay again next time I’m here. Thank you Joan

Lovely, comfortable, well maintained accommodation. |Joan looks after you so well, nothing too much trouble.|Lovely spot in a beautiful village.|Close to the Dukeries, especially Welbeck on which estate it sits. |Well worth a visit. |Breakfast is the icing on the cake.
