Lovely little gem in Uckfield! My initial impression from the outside and the signing was surpassed when stepping in. A great vibe, delicious food and drinks as well as lovely, friendly staff. It's also wonderful to have a cafe that stays open later in town, as Uckfield has been seriously lacking this. Will definitely go again!

We’ve tried several bubble teas which were delicious and also some salad. The bento box was amazing however the vegetable ramen was very very plain and the broth didn’t taste of anything. Unfortunately, one man working there which I would think is the manager is not nice at all to customers neither to the staff which will not make me return. I’ve been coming there for a while and suddenly they’ve decided to charge me extra for dairy free so unfortunately that was my last visit.

I had the BBQ pork donburi today, and it was delicious and authentic. However, the portion felt a bit small for the price, so I might only come back occasionally. I also noticed the chef was coughing while serving, which made me a bit worried about hygiene. If they can adjust the portion size and make sure the chef stays healthy, I’d be happy to change my review and share a more positive update. Overall, great flavour but a few things to work on.

I had an incredible experience coming to Bubble + Bao with one of my friends. We had already agreed that it was a bit like a knock-off Wagamamas‘; we were correct to a certain degree, but personally we found it so much better.
It was quite busy, but you could actually have a conversation without shouting; the food was perfect, it tasted great and the texture was actually correct.
We loved the experience we had.

What a great addition to Uckfield culinary desert! Tasty Ramen, Donbury, Bento box. Nice service. We are so happy these guys are in Uckfield and stay open until 9pm! Don’t be put off by the Bubble tea front inside is a lovely Japanese fusion food. Finally something decent to eat here!❤️

Ordered a section of items from the menu, all food was fresh, tasty and the drinks were delicious. We will be back again for sure, a great addition to Uckfield high street!
