Liked: Let’s start from the beginning. Easy to book, communication prior to our stay was good and we found it with no problems. We arrived and check in was efficient and pleasant. The site is superbly laid out with good size pitches that are nicely spaced. The site is very well organised, and very tidy. Facilities are large enough for the site and generally maintained to a high standard although a few spots could do with a bit of a refresh. The on site restaurant/ bar has a good selection of drinks that are average prices. It serves tasty food and these are priced well too. The swimming pool is a nice touch although I imagine it can get very busy in peak season. Lastly, the staff are superb. Friendly, highly competent and can’t do enough for you.

We will definitely be back.

Liked: Really friendly camp with decent facilities if you are looking for a bar / swimming pool on site. Toilet block well maintained and clean, showers and kitchen area could have done with slightly hotter water but served a purpose. Staff at the reception and shop were really friendly and helpful and the pitch sizes were good. Overall the park looked to be well maintained.

Disliked: Hot water for showering and washing up wasn't much above luke warm

We stayed here in May and what a place! Value for money, you won't find better in the area. Staff are fantastic, extremely helpful, and polite. We had stayed for a weekend and the entertainment in the club house was excellent. The main kids' park is dead outside the main club house, so if you have the weather, you can sit outdoors on a bench and have a pint while the kids play. They are a mega dog friendly site, so for us, this is perfect. It is a small site compared to some of these massive commercial things, but this is this site's main selling point. It's got a very home away from home feel and the staff are the main reason for this.bwe will definitely be back!

As per usual, an amazing visit to Bucklegrove! Big praises to the bar staff and the lovely ladies on reception for being so welcoming and making our visit fantastic. Food in the restaurant was delicious and speedy service||We did however notice that there was a pitch which didn’t seem to be abiding by the usual standards which was disappointing. 3 tents on one pitch and lots of antisocial behaviour (bench flipping and shouting, especially with the children’s park right next to it), other than that, a fantastic visit and we will be back!

We stayed here for our first touring holiday with our van, facilities were clean and dotted around each field. Staff very friendly, within driving distance of cheddar gorge and wookey hole. Would definitely stay here again. Easy to get into with a twin axle van, pitches well serviced and no issues with electricity and water supply.

Liked: We stayed one night on this site. The reception team were very friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a fully serviced pitch because there had been a problem with the electric supply on the standard pitch we had booked for.
It was a well laid out site and from our pitch ( Strawberry 220 ) we had views of the surrounding hills and countryside. Unfortunately it rained heavily all night but I'm sure it would have been peaceful.
We enjoyed an early morning swim before we left. The pool was clean and the water was really warm!
The shower block seemed a bit old and tired looking but the water was hot and the shower was powerful.

Disliked: Nothing

Nothing bad to say. It’s been an amazingly relaxed weekend. Every detail taken care off. We 100% come back.

Hot tub 6 steps away from the front door. Checked and maintain each day. Fabulously clean and a very lovely 38c.
