We hadn't been to Bude before but have stayed in quite a lot of sites across Devon and Cornwall so we didn't know what to expect. Bude itself is a lovely location with a nice mixture of coastal walks, beaches and activities as well as the town having lots of independent shops to browse. ||The Away Resorts site is relatively small but is well maintained and the reception staff were friendly and helpful upon our arrival, in fact before we arrived we had a courtesy phone call to say our lodge was ready early and we could check in whether ready. We had a lodge on the 'Duckpool' area of the site, all the grass verges are kept nice and the lodge itself was very clean with everything you need, there was a proper big TV in the living room as well as in the double bedroom. Unlike some sites it is nice that you are given free unlimited WiFi which you simply log into with a password and not the rigmarole of setting up an account for each individual device. ||The outdoor swimming pool was really good, our ten year old had great fun in there and it was staffed by two helpful and friendly lifeguards. You have to book a time slot for swimming but there is no charge for this, again unlike some larger sites that charge extra for any activities. ||The entertainment complex was better than we expected for a relatively small site, there's a bar area with indoor and outdoor seating, an arcade with 2p machines and games, a couple of pool tables. There's a large TV which was showing the FA Cup Final when we were there. The food we had there we took back to the lodge to eat and it was very nice, there was also a good selection of cocktails at the bar. ||At the back of the site there's a footpath which takes you up to the coastal footpath, this takes you into Bude. It's about a 25 minute walk but a pleasant walk with nice views right across Bude and out to sea. ||We will most certainly be going back to Bude for a holiday again and we will definitely stay at the Away Resorts site, gem of a find.

This is the third time we have stayed here this year, each time in Sandymouth 2. |I can hardly describe how wonderful it is. The caravan is luxurious and very clean. The bed is super comfy.|I love the path up to the cliffs to take you, right to Crooklets or left to Northcott. We used Northcott mostly as it is dog friendly.|I hope to be back again in September as to me this is “the promised land”

Currently staying on site and can't fault it. The caravan was spotless on arrival and the little arrival pack of sponge, washing up liquid, tea towel etc is super helpful and a brilliant idea and I need not have bought my own!
The bed is really comfy and the living area super cosy, we are currently experiencing bad weather but snuggled up with the electric fire on!
It is a quiet site and maybe not much happening for kids but we are a couple using it as a base and couldn't ask for better. Brilliant access to the coastal path.

Lovely place! A quiet caravan park- without view but only a short walk to the cliffs with fantastic views and a gentle walk down to the beach.
It’s not “five star” luxury accommodation but great for what it is- a comfy, clean caravan site with friendly staff. It’s in a great position from the town- a short car journey or a twenty/ thirty minute walk.

We have just got back from a 4 night stay in the indulgent lodge. Summerleaze no.8! |The lodge was spotless, had all you needed for a great stay. The outdoor space was used well (was lovely to just chill out there where the sun was all day long)! |All staff spoken to were polite, friendly and could not do enough for you. ||My only negatives are: |1.) As i have said before and to the site, needs more shrubs/plants around the site to give a but more privacy/colour. |2.) We feel they dont advertise the clubhouse enough. There was bingo on tues and Thursday but most people didnt know! Need to put a board out the front advertising. |There was a communication issue on one of the nights re the bingo being on. |However this was sorted quickly and efficiently, we got to play and I actually won the first game. (The cash Prizes are very good) |I have to say shout out to the compare (lifeguard)!. |Overall no major negatives ||This is our 3rd time visiting the site with the dog which is completely dog friendly. The walk up to the coastal path is a great and convenient, you get some amazing views on the way up and well breathtaking once up there. |We have stayed in different accommodation each time. All have been clean, pleasant, in good condition and bigger than my first flat! |We love our time at the site. ||Shout out to Megan at reception who i have dealt with since the first time we stayed, she is always welcoming, friendly and makes sure you have everything you need to have a great holiday. ||Thank you Away Resorts for another fab holiday we will be back next year!

We stayed for 4 nights in February half term. We stayed in Duckpool 101. The lodge was immaculately clean considering it was somewhere we could take the dog. There was a little welcome pack for her including a blanket, toy, water pot and poo bags. ||The beds were comfortable and the linen was high quality and the bathrooms were very clean. The apartment was spacious and the decor was spot on. ||The location was ideal and the park was nice a quiet. The bar was a little underwhelming and cold in the evenings but the food and drinks were reasonably priced. We played pool and in the arcades and there was a lovely chap called Mark who was very chatty and happy 😊 Guest services were kind enough to lend me a hairdryer when I forgot mine. ||There are only a couple of things that could have made it better for us. The first is that the lodge needs blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The park is very well lit at night and the sunshine in the mornings woke us up earlier than we would have liked. The second is that the kitchen needs some more utensils. There was no tin opener and the knives were blunt. There weren't any baking trays either.||Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back ☺️

It was an amazing stay. Myself and my daughter enjoyed being back here after 7 years. Our lodge was absolutely amazing, it had everything we could possibly need and more! Unfortunately we had to leave a night early because I became unwell, but we will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a lovely stay. 😍

Thank you for the complimentary upgrade to a lodge with hot tub, Away Resorts! The children loved the hot tub, it made their half term break. ||This resort is lovely - quiet, well kept, clean and a great location. Very dog friendly too! There’s a lovely costal walk but if your not a fan of heights maybe go the other way||The staff are friendly and nice to talk to (thank you to the lifeguards who came out in the rain so the children could go in the outdoor pool!)||The accommodation is fabulous: clean (you clearly have an amazing cleaning team) very spacious, it has everything you need in the large kitchen - we even had a family roast on the Sunday made in the lodge. ||We only noticed the Away resorts kitchen bundle on the last day: cloths, bin bags, sponge, washing up liquid and dishwasher 2 tablets. We had brought our own but that was a nice touch! ||Even the rain didn’t ruin our little 4 night half term break away - the board games and Netflix saved the day 🙂 Thank you Away resorts
