We arranged my husbands 60th birthday get together in the function room, Nicky was very helpful during our initial viewing and gave us ideas . Menus were really great they covered everyone's dietary requirements and tastes. We went for menu D and it was excellent. Quality and quantity was excellent, value for money and we had a lot of positive feedback from family and friends. The room was just the right size for our party of 50. On the day which was 20th October David was on duty and was fantastic, he went above and beyond to make my husbands birthday very special. Thank you all for an excellent birthday. We will definitely recommend you. |Lorraine and David Warburton

Very comfortable, clean room with good bathroom (overhead shower in bath was great). Good supply of teas/coffee with fresh
milk available in fridge by reception. Very good night's sleep. 1/2 star knocked off as service at breakfast was not ideal...we were just shown to table and asked to place order. Not informed that cereals, juices and yoghurt were available in the room next door! And unfortunately, no marmalade available (or so we were informed!).

Will definitely stay here again. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending to our fellow travellers!

The staff are really helpful and welcoming. We booked a dog friendly room and were very pleased with the cleanliness of the place. Lovely dog treats, bowls and bed ready in the room. Breakfast was in the pub was great. Very good value for money.

I had an excellent experience during my visit, largely thanks to our waitress, Sophie. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that nothing was too much trouble. Her positive attitude and dedication to providing outstanding service truly stood out. With the example she sets, I believe she deserves a leadership role. Thank you, Sophie, for making our meal so enjoyable!

We chose the Bulls Head because of it's proximity to Manchester Airport combined with price. It was a great choice. The rooms in the hotel were clean and updated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in the pub and parking was included.
The pub was also updated, but in a comfy style. The food and service and drinks were all fantastic. With only two of us we didn't need a table reservation, but you might need one for a larger party on a busy weekend evening. Will definitely come here again for an airport stopover.

I am diabetic I ordered a very weak line and soda. The amount of line cordial made it undrinkable. We offer roast beef Sunday roast. Within 3 minutes of ordering the meal it arrived.

To begin with I thought I had ordered soup there was so much busy gravy it was swimming in it. The Yorkshire pudding was dry and stale the parsnips I had one tiny slither two hard roast potatoes and uncooked broccoli.

Diners beware. You’d better getting a Birds Eye frozen beef in gravy. £48.00 for dreck.

Room was great. Would benefit from plug sockets by the bedside table. Shower was awesome, room was clean, tea and coffee facilities great. Bed was extremely comfortable. David was stand-out amazing. I had a few random issues (got a key stuck, needed to know random facts about food at breakfast) and although he was definitely busy he made my comfort his priority. ||It's convenient for the Hale Shule and the Sephardi shul and the hotel is extremely accommodating of shomrei shabbos people. Once I'd explained on the Friday, David made sure to let me know that someone would be around if I had any issues over shabbos, and they have physical keys you can leave at reception (until the eruv pg).||Gorgeous hotel.

There was no one at reception to check in with, after calling, had to go to the pub to ask someone.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very nice, only critism was heavy dust on the fake plants.
Breakfast was fantastic. Had an issue getting into my room, but maintenance staff quick to arrive and sort it out.
