The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location, featuring a stunning interior and an ambient atmosphere that immediately sets a relaxing tone. Additionally, the ample parking facilities make it convenient for guests. The staff were attentive, although they seemed a bit forgetful, as they returned twice to take our order, which was a bit frustrating.

The menu looked amazing, but we faced disappointment when some of the starters we ordered were unavailable later. While the soup was delicious, the tart was dry, and the focaccia was still doughy in the middle, indicating inconsistency in the kitchen. The Carvery, however, was delightful and clearly the main attraction, as the butterfly chicken was also dry. Despite these issues, the desserts were faultless, beautifully presented, and included a nostalgic 'old school Black Forest Gateaux'. I would consider returning, but I'd likely stick to the Carvery or give it another chance, hoping it was just an off day.

It is one of the best village pubs, including restaurants near to Hereford. Best place for a small group's party. They have a variety of desserts, too. Ginger flavourful ice cream is awesome. Spacious parking available. The restaurant design is attractive.

Always good
One of our guests declared "the best steak and ale pie for many years."
My second carvery experience in a month. The pork was delicious on both visits - tender, tasty and a generous helping
The vegetable selection is huge and also delicious.
Totally recommended, but always best to book well in advance because The B of C is a very popular pub.

Absolutely fabulous! I visited with family and three of us enjoyed the carvery (I had the nut roast which was delicious) my daughter had fish and chips and homemade cheesecake. Really lovely friendly atmosphere and it was so nice sitting in a really traditional pub, drinking Butty Bach and eating lovely food. Great to see it so busy even on a Monday night. Thank you for an amazing evening, can't wait to return!

We were visiting some friends in the area and visited Bunch of Carrots for a carvery on Sunday. The pub has a nice cozy, family friendly atmosphere.

The carvery had a selection of 3 meats (pork was my favourite) alongside a wide range of seasonal vegetables with a tasty beef gravy. The staff very all very friendly and accommodating.

There is lots of parking onsite, it is a great place for a relaxed Sunday lunch..make sure you're hungry.

Absolutely gorgeous food. Went for the carvery. Busy on a Sunday as expected so had to wait a long time between getting menus, carvery tickets, drinks and paying the bill. So that's why service got 4 star. Didn't try the desserts as was too full but the family next to us had cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding which looked very tasty. Will definitely be coming back next time we are down in Hereford. Highly recommend. Staff all very friendly and love the local produce. Love the quirky name of the pub too. Can't fault it.

Beautiful pub inside, we always go for the carvery which is one of the best in Hereford. A good range of Weston ciders as well.
