SIMPLY TERRIBLE. ONE STAR IS JUST TOO MUCH.
The hotel looked good on the glossary but I was very disappointed once we arrived. The hotel is old with many old outdated features and is feeling tired with the decor. Our room. Well the bath was in a terrible condition and dirty. Wall paper hanging off the furniture doors the mains socket didn’t work. The net curtains were torn/damaged. The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out of them also a window handle was missing. Fire hazard in my opinion and the bed was so old and uncomfortable we had a terrible nights sleep, as you can feel the springs and we felt un rested. We both woke with back pain….Will I use this hotel again. NEVER!

What a great little hotel in a prime position and great value.Yes in parts it's dated but room was clean and comfortable,couple of problems with shower but reported and ok. Free parking, cold water swimming pool, lift,mobility scooter storage, bar and friendly staff. We didn't have food at hotel but litterly 5 min walk to any restaurant you could want,15 min walk to beach and pier. One gripe was despite numerous signs people still smoking in hotel, corridors and lift, terrible if you suffer breathing problems. More should be done to crack down on this.|Overall a nice 4 night stay and would return.

An abandoned retirement home comes to mind. |Nothing like the gloss pictures advertised. It very tired, old and needs a lot of work and bringing up to date.| |Staff on reception need to be welcoming with a smile!||The room…family room |Had a strange and unpleasant smell|Unable to open the windows.|Mattress was uncomfortable and could feel the springs.|The desk/dressing table had a piece of wood attached across the top of it, clearly holding it together.|Bathroom very small, cleanish but dated.|Noise from room above, could hear clearly conversations being held by those in the room above. Floorboards very noisy each time they move across the floor which was constant!|||Don’t book!!

This hotel is run by theives |I stayed here Saturday night I left Sunday morning |I left my phone charger in the room, I went back 10 minutes later after check out , the charger was gone and they tried calling me a liar saying I have the charger in my bag |I emptied the bag in front of them and they were still calling me a liar. Really bad stay , dirty rooms , stained bed sheets , no night service whatsoever, locks don’t work properly to gain access , I wouldn’t pay ten pound a night to stay there

Horrible !! £150 dated room (no breakfast), last minute Saturday night stay, terrible mattresses, we could feel the springs, dirty bath, not enough water in the shower to wash the hair. Just to forget. They know how horrible it is, they should at least make less price and offer the breakfast. No, they don’t do any effort to make customers happy at all.

I have just stayed there for a night and without any doubt one of the worst experience of my life.the mattress are outdated and you can’t even sleep. Dirty carpets and also never been cleaned. Extremely small showers area (ancient)that you barely fit in. Strong odour and smell in the room.
No staff to be seen anywhere. No customer service.
Stay away from this.
I would not recommend it to anyone

Budget place that did the job. Great location, short distance to the beach and town centre. Room was clean, shower practically new, had everything we needed to stay for a night.
Friendly and helpful staff, overall positive experience.

Honestly , I don't understand all the bad comments about this hotel. Our room was fantastic, equipped with a bath , confortable bed and swimming pool. It's in the center of bournemouth near everything.
